Chapter 9 - Visiting The Church

Tobias texted you that he was on his way so you started to get dressed. For a second you didn't know how to be perfect dressed for creatures that are somehow dead.

To go with the flow you chose black jeans as well as a black shirt and a jeans jacket. As jewelry you had your usual things. A necklace from your brother he gave you when he visited you in collage and some rings you were often.

Tobias rang on your door just as you were about to put on your shoes. „Are you exited?" he said while he couldn't stand still from excitement. „I am. I just hope they like me." „They will! They are already exited to see James daughter." After getting in the car he told you some things how to behave and appear in front of the sisters and ghouls.   

It still felt very strange for you that these aren't humans. They are actual creatures from hell.

While talking he suddenly turned into an old path leading in the forest. The creepiest forest ever. No one dared to enter it ever again. Once two people wanted to explore it, but since that day, they were never seen again. Everybody knew they died but no one knows how. Did these Ghoul killed them?

„Is everything ok Clay?" Copia looked at you as he realized that you didn't feel well. Right now he drove down a long road where tree after tree stood on the sides. It was dark because hardly any sunlight made it trough the dense trees. The more you drove into the forest, the more fog appeared on the road, as it wasn't making the situation any easier.

„This forest is creepy as shit.. don't you know the legend from this? Why do we have to go this way? Couldn't we have gone somewhere else.. less scary? What if there's someone standing there with a chainsaw wanting to kill us?" your breath quickened a bit as you regretted thinking up the worst possible scenarios as your fear increased more.

„Clay.. you soon will meet creatures from hell and you are scared about someone with a chainsaw? And besides it's a spell." he tries to calm you down but it didn't work out because now you were terrified what spell this was. „Is this a spell to make me afraid? Do you wanna kill me?" you hissed back with sweaty hands and a high pitched voice.

„No! Are you stupid? I would never do this! And I did not put a spell on you.. well kind of.. this spell goes over the entire forest. This place is enchanted so that normal humans like you are afraid of it and don't enter this forest. With that we have our peace.. because Clay.. this is my home.." just as he finished the sentence the street ended and you had to turn left.

You entered a parking lot with a lot old fancy cars on it. On the end of this was a huge marble staircase that leaded to the entrance of the church. And the church was huge. You looked out the window while your mouth stood open all the time. „That church is sick!"

You left the car as your eyes saw so many things that your brain couldn't keep up with. Even the surroundings were so beautiful that it made you speechless. There were flowers everywhere blooming in beautiful colors. You were like in another world. The air was fresher, the colors more brighter and everything was way calmer.

On the parking lot was another street bonded. You guessed that this is the street leading to hell.

„Could you but these two things over your head?" Copia stood next to you holding a balaclava and a silver mask in his hands. „This mask is from our fan store they are familiar to the ones the ghouls are wearing. You need to cover your face, sorry I didn't tell you. There are sometimes dead souls here and they don't like strange visitors. Especially humans. And it's good for you if you cover your face so the ghouls don't know your identity. Otherwise than can hunt you at BloodyMoon." Tobias whispered the last sentences but you understood everything.

You got a bit scared as you put the mask on immediately.

Just as everything was on the right place you head another car. „Oh that must be Fire and Chantal." your heart stopped working as you heard that name. You had to think back to the collage time. Chantal was pure shit and you still blamed her for what happened to you.

You watched them enter the parking lot as seconds later two ghouls left the car. Your whole body was stiff not knowing how to react. They looked so cool. Their mask was so good looking as you saw all the other details. Long fingers, different ears and a tail. Holy shit this was hot.

„Have you got everything?" Copia went over to them while you still stood there nervous. „Yes luckily. It was kinda full at the store." the male ghoul answered while the female looked at you.

„Is this Clay?" the male pointed to you. „Yeah that's me." your voice was shaking as you slowly put on foot in front of the other as you reached them. „Don't be nervous. Nice to meet you. I'm Fire." you saw him smiling as you calmed down a bit. „Nice to meet you too."

They grabbed their stuff from the backseat as you all entered the church. You also carried to paper bags full of food inside while Fire had a small conversation with you. He showed you the kitchen and where you could put down the bags. „Thanks for the help. It would be cool seeing you more often here soon. But now I think Copia wants to show you the church at first." He smiled while pointing to him as he dutifully waited till you were done. „Yess! I do." and so he took you with him.

Even the church from the inside was pure beauty. Long marble covered floors and wall. Beautiful old room while dim candlelight lighted some halls. It was exactly how you imagined yourself an old satanic church. Living here sounded so cool inside your head.
