Chapter 64

Weakly, she cautiously opened her eyes as she was totally confused when she saw you. "Fire?" she tried to say, only her voice was missing. "Please Air... I would never leave you... Don't leave me here alone..." your voice trembled as you gently stroked her torn cheek.

All the while you were looking into her fearful eyes, when all of a sudden her weak hand was on your cheek and she was holding your face in her hand. Tears just came out of her eyes as she looked at you and tried to smile. You were silent all the time, but somehow you didn't need words, you just needed your existence.

"I'm sorry..." she said still weakly as she eventually put her hand down and stepped further away before closing her eyes again. "Hey... Air... stay with me." you panicked a bit as you shook her a little. "You're not leaving me here alone!" you said as you scooted back a little, that she was in front of you. You pushed her hair aside a bit to have free access to her neck as you then bit her neck to give her a second bite mark. You immediately felt how her heart began to beat faster.

You got a little woozy as a wild energy surrounded you, which you also felt when you first bit her. It turned a little black at the edge of your eyes, but you concentrated all the time not to take your teeth out of her neck.

You talked for a bit to just clear up all those misconceptions. Air seemed more and more powerful and her cracks started to heal just by being her again. "You should go to sleep..." said Air as you tried to yawn inconspicuously. "I'll be fine...I'll take care of you." you try to say as you stretched.

You rubbed your eyes to become more awake as Air gently pulled you by your hair to her that you were then lying next to her. "Air... all good... I really don't need sleep..." you tried to disagree. „Now you are contradict me.." she laughed.

But when Air then scratched your favorite spot on your head, where she always scratched you, it was over with you and you fell asleep right away.
