"Wow," I said, breathing out as I glanced around the underground room that held numerous soundproof glass studios.

There were various people occupying each one with a different sense of style and appearance.

However, the atmosphere felt completely whole. Like I could stay here all night and not get bored.

Now, this was a surprise. I don't even think we have a music studio back in my hometown.

Cam gently held my hand, guiding us both over to one of the empty studios, "I can't wait to show you what I've been working on."

I gave her a suspicious glance as we entered the modern studio covered with the reoccurring colors of grey, red, and white.

"What have you been working on?" I asked, sitting down on the grey couch as Cam smiled, walking toward the sound booth.

She flicked a switch up on the wall, making the red light turn on above the glass door that led into the booth, "It's not much... just a few lines."

I tilted my head, about to question her more, but she inevitably entered the booth before I could do so.

I watched as she hooked the guitar up to the wire, sitting down on the white cushioned stool and clearing her throat.

The air was caught in my throat as she strummed the guitar a few times. This entire thing—or date—felt incredibly romantic.

And I liked it.

Cam hummed, beginning her verse. "Dark hair, perfect eyes, and a smile made of sunshine... Oh Ana you defy everything I once liked... You're the only thing on my mind every time I see the stars in the sky..."

Cam glanced up, pausing her actions as I stared forward speechlessly.

No one's ever done something so meaningful for me before—even if it was just a few lines, it was still incredibly thoughtful.

"Sorry, It's only a few verses but—"

"Are you kidding? I love it," I cut her off, grinning like an idiot as I rushed over toward the booth door.

Cam smiled as I entered the booth. "You're a huge inspiration," she said, laughing as I gently grabbed the guitar and sat it down.

I unconsciously straddled her lap, peering into her light eyes with excitement.

"I honestly jotted this down on the way to brunch this morning," she shyly admitted.

I couldn't help but laugh, imagining Cam rushing to write the verses down.

"Really?" I said, breathing out another airy laugh.

Cam laughed again, "Yeah—safe to say, everyone passing by thought I was a little crazy."

I hummed, leaning into her as her warm hands settled around my waist, "Crazy for me," I said, my tone teasing and completely joking.

Cam chuckled, "I know you're joking, but I actually am," she said, leaning closer toward me.

I stayed silent, staring down at her soft lips before guiding my attention back up to her eyes.

Cam trailed one hand up my back, rubbing the back of my neck before gently wrapping her hand around it. "Is this okay?" she asked leaning in further.

I nodded almost immediately, and shortly after she obliged, allowing her soft lips to meet mine.

My grip tightened around her shoulders as I leaned further into the passionate kiss.
