"I just can't believe you turned my sister into a lover girl," Mya admitted as we stood in the elevator.
I couldn't stop my smile from growing, "She's just so.... ugh," I gushed, clearly lovesick.
Which I was.
I was also slightly drunk.
My plans for not getting drunk were thrown out of the window as soon as I tried that amazing espresso martini.
One sip led to another... and another—and another.
It was hard to slow down when we were both sipping and talking.
"Even if I never imagined you two getting together—you really complement each other," Mya said as the elevator dinged open.
My smile grew into a grin, "That means so much to me Mya bear," I said, side-hugging her as we walked down the familiar hallway.
Mya giggled, "You know I hate when you call me that—you sound just like my parents," she said, shaking her head at me as we approached the tall door.
I only laughed as I knocked on the matte black door, "But it's such a cute nickname," I said, leaning on the door slightly to relieve my loose body.
"Maybe but—"
A gasp fell from my lips when the door opened, easily causing me to stumble slightly to catch my composure.
But before I could manage to steady myself, Mili's hands were instinctively on my waist and supporting me.
"I tell you not to drink too much and this is what happens," Mili said, looking between Mya and me.
I smiled, "I told you I wasn't making any promises," I pointed out as I slid my arms around her torso.
Mili only shook her head, "I don't know what I expected to happen from a night out with my sister," she determined as she backed into her loft with me practically clinging onto her and Mya following us in.
"Hey! What is that supposed to mean?" Mya defensively questioned, but it was clear that she wasn't serious.
I giggled, "It means that you're so fun to hang out with," I said, easily earning an eye roll from Mili.
Mya only sent Mili a wide smile, "And I'll be even more fun to hang with in Cairo bitches!" Mya called out as she shimmied her shoulders, easily earning more giggles from me.
Meanwhile, Mili only managed to give us both a narrowed look, "I don't think so," she said, clearly shutting the idea down.
I frowned dramatically, "She would only visit for a week—she already found a cute hotel too," I said, knowing Mya and I had planned it all over drinks.
"Yeah, you can't take Ana away from me for three months, M," Mya pointed out with a narrowed look.
Mili suddenly looked over to me—and I couldn't miss the puppy dog eyes she was suddenly giving me.
God do I love her face so much.
I couldn't even stop myself from cupping her beautiful face in my hands, "You're the cutest ever," I murmured, pressing kisses all over her face.
A soft laugh fell from Mili's lips as I pressed the flutter-like kisses all over her soft skin, "Cute enough to see my sister when we get back?" she subtly questioned.
And I somehow found myself humming, "Yes, of cour—"
"Ana, come on—imagine the shopping sprees in Cairo," Mya tried to convince me.
