"I can't believe you're missing out on game night."

My lips tilted up into an amused smile as I glanced over to Mya through the mirror that I stood in front of.

She was practically a helicopter mom—standing by the bathroom door frame with her arms crossed and a look of disapproval.

"I told you that we'd try to make it back to play one game with you guys," I reminded my best friend.

Mya scoffed, clearly not believing a single word coming from my mouth, "Unless you guys sneak a quickie in at the restaurant—you aren't making it back by the end of the night, much less the morning," she retorted.

Just like that—

My glossed lips parted as a laugh escaped my lips.

And as Mya reciprocated my laugh, I seemed to have nothing in rebuttal.

Because she had made a good point, and I didn't want to confirm that we'd make it, only to prove her theory right.

Besides, the quickie in the bathroom is hitting just a little too close to home.

"Don't fucking tell me..." Mya suddenly trailed off as her laughter faded, clearly piecing together that me and her sister had indeed snuck in a quickie in a bathroom.

Of many.

When I only seemed to remain silent, my best friend's mouth fell open.

It wasn't just shock etched on her features, but amusement too.

Mya blinked a few times, "I-I... I have no words right now."

Her words alone only earned another laugh from me as I shook my head.

Even if my face was burning red, I couldn't help but find this all painfully hilarious.

"Mya's speechless for once? What did I miss?"

Just like that, a smile—

No, a grin was growing on my face.

She looked absolutely perfect as she stood by my best friend at the bathroom doorway.

Her dark hair was slicked back into a low bun while she wore her usual graphic tee and baggy jeans.

She had on minimal makeup, but it was hard to miss her long lashes covered in mascara or the way her dark brows were perfectly outlined.

Even the sight of her after barely even a few hours seemed to breathe life into me.

"You've ripped the innocence from my best friend—that's what," Mya said, but it was obvious in her tone that she was joking.

A beautiful laugh fell from my girlfriend's lips, "Wow, ripped is an interesting word—" her dark eyes suddenly glanced to me, "Last I recall, she was the one on my lap wanting—"

"Milan," I cut her off with a narrowed look.

My girlfriend only chuckled, clearly amused as she walked over towards me, "What? Nobody really knows who you are," she pointed out.

Mya blinked blankly, "Who you turned her into," she emphasized as Mili subtly slid her arms around my waist.

Warmth bubbled all around me as I leaned into my girlfriend's touch—feeling completely deprived after only being away from her for less than a day.

"I only brought it out of her," Mili corrected her sister.

I raised a skeptical brow, "What is it?" I clarified to my girlfriend.
