"Ana?"

I looked up from the plate I was preparing with pancakes and fruit, "Mya, hey—how do you feel?" I questioned, watching as she sat down at the kitchen island.

Mya only shrugged, "Like I got way too drunk and allowed myself to be vulnerable," she admitted, shaking her head to herself as she took the prepared plate from me, "Thank you," she said as I made my way around the counter.

"You didn't allow anything," I assured her, sitting down beside her as I grabbed the orange juice and poured it into the glass.

Mya only sighed, "I really shouldn't have drank so much," she determined, drizzling her pancakes with the syrup that I set out for her.

I slid the filled glass over to her, "No, he shouldn't have touched you like that—sober or not," I said, hating how she felt as if any of this was her fault.

Mya only cut into her pancakes, "Yeah," she forced out.

I frowned slightly, reaching out to place a gentle hand on her shoulder, "It's really not your fault."

Mya suddenly met my stare, "It kind of feels like it," she admitted.

I only shook my head, "I promise it's not," I assured her, earning a long sigh from her. "How do you feel? Do you need anything?" I questioned, hoping I could help her out in some way.

Mya shrugged weakly, "No, I think I'm good—I'm just grateful that you guys got there in time..." she trailed off as she shook her head to herself yet again, "I just now Mili was pissed," she suddenly laughed.

I couldn't help but laugh with her, knowing Mili was pretty mad, "Yeah... let's just say that guy's nose is one hundred percent broken," I joked, easily earning another laugh from her.

Mya shook her head, "Good, he deserved it," she said, looking down at her phone which suddenly dinged.

The alert alone made me think of Mili, wondering if it was her texting.

It was odd, but I found myself missing her already.

Is that clingy of me?

Mya suddenly squealed, easily making my brows raise in surprise, "What? What is it?" I questioned frantically.

Mya only shook her head with a loose smile, "They finally decided on my major's semester trip," she gushed, tapping on her phone, "It's New York fashion week—oh my god, I can't believe this!" she squealed yet again, easily making a smile grow on my face.

At least she's happy.

"I can't wait to see what they choose for your trip, Ana," Mya said as she continued reading the email.

I tilted my head, "All majors get trips?" I questioned in confusion.

Mya nodded, "Yeah, it typically goes along with your major so they can make it into a project—they'll probably send something out in a couple of weeks," she explained, and I couldn't help but feel slightly excited. "The trips are typically all expenses paid, which is nice—you also get a glimpse into your major in the real world."

I smiled slightly, "That sounds really exciting—how long is fashion week?" I questioned, knowing it would be weird without her, Damon, and Frankie here.

"It's only a week long, but we're leaving a week before fashion week since they want us to see what the preparation phase looks like," she said, easily making me purse my lips. Two weeks feels like a long time without Mya by my side.

Mya suddenly looked at me, easily noticing my quietness, "Aw is someone going to miss me?" she joked, playfully nudging me.

I rolled my eyes, "Definitely not—it'll be nice to not have to see those weird mannequins you dress," I joked, knowing that she would sometimes leave them out in the living room for the different lighting.
