Moon Hyunjin please come onto the stage!"

I stood and readjusted my hat before making my way to the center of the studio. Near me my best friend Eunchae sat smiling, cheering me as I stood on stage. Behind the rows and rows of participating performers were family members and friends, all there to support their certain dancer. I glanced around and soon spotted my family: Moon Junhui and Moon Aera. Beside them were my aunts and uncles: Haewon, Lily, Kyujin, Chris, Felix, Minghao and Jaemin.

"WOOHOO LET'S GO HYUNJIN!" I heard Kyujin shriek before being promptly silenced by Haewon.

I smirked. It was time to show them what I was made of. I bowed before the judges before introducing myself.

"Hello. My name is Moon Hyunjin and I'm 16 years old."

"Hi there Hyunjin. We look forward to your performance. Good luck."

There were several hoots from the benches. I nodded and got into my starting position.

A few minutes later I reemerged with a gold medal along with Eunchae who had won a silver medal. I was immediately showered with praise by the adults.

"Oh my god you did great!" Lily exclaimed.

"Of course she did, she's Jun's kid." Minghao remarked.

"You did an excellent job, kiddo." My father grinned engulfing me in a strong hug.

"Congrats to you as well Eunchae!" I heard my mother say to the girl beside me.

"Thanks Miss Aera!" Eunchae replied, smiling broadly.

"Fried chicken anyone?" Kyujin asked suddenly.

"Heck yes." I groaned.

Hours later after the dinner I sat down on my bed back at my home and let out a loud sigh. As I brushed my long, damp, black hair my eyes wandered around the walls which were covered with medals and ribbons from the 12 years that I had spent as a dancer. It was a natural choice for me of course. With a father who had been a former famous kpop idol, not to mention a main dancer, I had been basically raised in the world of dance and music.

Best Dancer 2011, 1rst Place 2012, Top Class 2013, World Performer 2014, Seoul to Soul 2015, International Dancer 2016, Stardom 2017, Dance Korea 2018, Seoul Festival 2019, World Class 2020, Best Stage 2021, Golden 2022, 1 Million Dance 2023 . . . the awards went on and on. Ring! I glanced down to see that my best friend Eunchae had sent me a message.

I smiled and set down the device. Well then. I guess it was time for me to practice one more dance routine before I went to sleep.
