Ray POV
"Aye Ray!" I heard someone calling my name. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around to see Trey holding hands with Kay. What is she doing here?"
"oh Hi Kay" i said
"Hi Ray" she smiled. Trey came over to me and said that the girls were here
"Girls as in Theresa too?"
"Yeah"
"Where is she?"
"I don't know, but her cousins are over there" He pointed over towards a table full of laughing girls. I walked over there and they all stopped their conversation and stared at me
"Hi Ray!" Money said to me "what are you doing here?" she asked
"Oh nothing. we were having a guys night out but obviously you guys are here and now we can just have a good time together"
"i guess" Mickey said rolling her eyes and drinking her iced tea
"So do you know where Theresa is?"
"Not since we got on the dance floor. she's probably still out there dancing" Cookie said. I looked out into the crowd of people but couldn't see Theresa.
"oh so you're Rayquan?" Meyanna said. i remember her from a couple years ago but apperantly she didn't remember me
"Yeah"
"Oh, i remember you. Your that one little boy that dated Neicey's bestfriend Bahja right?" Maybe she did remember me
"Yeah that's me"
"Oh and now you're dating my little cousin"
"Yup"
"Mhmm, she told me about you"
"What?"
"nothing. I'm not supposed to talk about it"
"Okay, well I'm gonna go find her"
"have fun" they all said. I went out on a search for my girlfriend. I was going to apologize but I promise you I looked through that whole dance floor, she wasn't there. I went around looking one more time but still had no luck. I went back to their table that only held Meyanna and Neicey
"Hey, she's not out there" I said to them
"Are you sure? that is a big dance floor"
"I'm sure. I check everywhere twice"
"Well maybe she's in the bathroom"
"Who?" Money said as she came to the table
"Theresa"
"no she's not in there, I just came from there"
"Did you check the bar?"
"No." i left them once again and went to the bar. She still wasn't there. I looked out onto the dance floor and saw Jacob and Cookie dancing. I went over to them
"jacob have you seen Theresa?"
"She's here too?" he asked
"Yeah, have you seen her"
"No"
Damn, where is she? I walked back over to the table a little upset
"You still didn't find her?" Meyanna asked. i shook my head no
"Are you sure she's here?"
"Yeah. it was her idea to leave the house and do somethig fun. I don't think we would have left her at home" Neicey snapped. What happened to being a changed person?
