"Billie come on we got to go" Finneas says making me shake my head once more. I hear him sigh before I'm picked off the stage floor and lifted into his arms.

We had just finished sound check and rehearsal about two hours ago. Everyone pretty left already. I refused and only sat on the edge of the stage just staring into the empty arena. Finneas left me alone until he was finally finished packing up and checking on everything. That was a hour ago and he has been trying to get me to leave since then.

"You can't stay there forever. Sooner or later you will have to face it all and sitting in that arena isn't going to do you any good." He tells me as he carries me outside to the car. I don't reply only lay my head on his shoulder and wait for him to set me down in the passenger seat.

On the way home, he stops at tacobell and orders me some burritos. I almost ask him to order some food for Halley too but I stop myself.

Come on Billie get her out of your head.

The look in her eyes when she looks at me now. She looks at me with so much anger and pain, it hurts. I get why she is mad at me, I do. I just wish she could see everything from my point of view as well.

"You alright?" Finneas asks as he pulls up in front of the hotel. I nod my head yes and grab the bag of food, getting out of the car.

"Billie—"

"BILLIE!" I look up to see Halley running toward me. My eyes widened as I watch her stop in front of me before yelling out a quick "Ah fuck!" before bending over to catch her breath.

I glance at Finneas to see him leaving to give us privacy. Halley lifts her finger to silently tell me that she needs a minute. I wait patiently for her to catch her breath before she groans and stands up straight.

"God damn I need to start going back to the gym" She pants and groans.

"Are you alright?" I ask her to which she nods her head yes. I hum in response and go to walk around her but she stops me.

"Wait!" I look at her confused and she sighs scratching the back of her neck. "Can I talk to you?" She asks me, almost hesitant to even ask.

"Sure what about?"

Halley looks around us before grabbing my hand. She pulls me into the hotel and toward the elevators. Pressing the top floor, I raise an eyebrow and watched as the doors closed.

"Halle—"

"Don't speak." She cuts me off and stares at the elevator doors. "Wait until we get to the roof"

The roof?

Why is she taking me to the roof?

I silently nod my head and lean against the walls of the elevator as we wait to reach the top. A few seconds later, there was a small ding and the doors slowly opened. I follow Halley onto the roof where she stops at the edge and leans against the ledge, taking in the view. I silently stand next to her enjoying the beautiful city life view.

"I'm sorry"

Looking over at Halley, I find her still staring at the view with a loud sigh. "I been treating you like shit when it's not even that big of a deal. I mean yes it did hurt a little when you pretended I wasn't there but I was being stupid not to understand where you were coming from"
