December 5
San Diego, California

It's been a few days since Billie went back to her place. I'm on my way to her now. We are going to have our first date finally. She asked me again last night when we were on the phone so of course I said yes. I had to work today though so I wasn't able to come until close to six. It is now seven and I'm luckily almost there.

Rico let me off a little early which pained off because I was able to leave a little sooner. Billie called me as soon as I told her I was headed back to my house to shower and change. She told me that I could shower there and change there since I left some clothes over there.

Forced against my will type shit

"I'm always there baby" I tell Billie who is still on the phone with me. She remained on the phone with me the whole drive which I really appreciated. Despite loving to drive, I can't stand long rides so I was glad Billie stayed with me.

She lifts her head and smiles brightly at the phone. The blue eyed angel decided to do some writing, while I drove, with Finneas. I would honestly say I miss Finneas and Billie's folks. I didn't realize how much I would miss Finneas always gushing about Claudia, which as he should.

Or Maggie and I having those conversations while Billie performed. She always had laughing me until I'm red in the face. She honestly is like a mother to me.

Billie starts to notice my quietness and asks me if I was alright. "I'm fine angel" I reply softly,  not wanting to ruin the day. She smiles at my name for her and shakes her head lowly as she looks back down. "Soft" She mutters under her breath, forgetting that I'm in her airpods.

"What was that?"

She looked at me with lowered her eyes. "Soft" she repeats making me look over at my phone and smirk lowly.

"Or for real?" I raised an eyebrow at her and she didn't back down only continued to stare at me. I had to tear my eyes away to look in front of me as I drove.

I could practically hear her smiling as I stopped at a red light. "What's so funny" I asked leaning back to turn my eyes to her.

"You" She replied with a cocky smile.

I hummed in response and licked my lips slowly as I looked at her. "Alright prove it then?" She looks at me confused. "You think you all hard let's see baby" Her face flushed but she stood her ground and didn't look away from me.

One thing I love more than anything is eye contact, mama look at me.

"I don't got to prove nothing I know I'm the shit and everyone else knows it including you" She says cockily with her usual resting bitch face. I almost laughed because no matter how intimidating Billie appears, she really is the softest person you will ever meet.

"Mama don't act like you wasn't just shakin—"

She hung up on me.

I smirked and shook my head deciding to not call her back and just deal with it when I see her. I made it to her house about fifteen minutes later. Sending her text saying I was here, I parked the car and got out, grabbing my bag.

I looked up to see the door had opened and found Billie hurrying out of the house. My lips tugged into a grin as she ran toward me, jumping in my arms. Nearly almost falling, I caught her and spun her around making her laugh cutely.

"I missed you bozo" She smiles cheeky at me as I set her down moments later.

"I missed you" I mutter before grabbing her by her throat and pulled her into me. My lips didn't waste no time in finding hers and she moans softly.

"Halley!" We pull away before I was tackled to the ground by the ginger. Finneas and Billie laughed at me as I glared up from the ground at both of them.

"You didn't have to tackle me to the ground you big oof" I groaned as he helped me to his feet before hugging me. I smiled and hugged him back.

"You know you loved it" He jokes making me shove him away.

He ruffles my hair and I flip him off with a laugh. "I don't miss you anymore" I teased before turning to Billie who only laughed at the whole interaction.

"Don't stand up here lying now" Finneas says in a perfect country accent making me burst out laughing. All three of us fall into a pit of laughter as we walk up to the front door, walking inside.

"Maggie and Pat here?" I ask Billie who shakes her head no.

"They are off at some little date of their own and Finneas is about to leave to go hang out with Claudia." She tells me as we walk into her always red room. I fall on the bed with a tired grunt and close my eyes.

"You tired baby?" I hear her ask me making me nod my head with a small mhm. She lays down next to me and gently plays with my hair.

"We can do this another day love. I don't want you to overwork yourself." Billie then says making me immediately sit up, shaking my head no.

"No baby I'll be okay. I promise"

Billie looks at me skeptical but mumbles a quick okay. She goes to get up but I groan in disapproval and wrap my arms around her to pull her back.

"Let's stay in the bed a little longer ma" I mumble, kissing her exposed neck.

"Baby we have to leave soon" She whines making me shush her quietly. "Just relax ma five minutes won't hurt" I reply and get comfortable as she lays her head on my chest.

"Five minutes"

It was not five minutes.
