"Mama you mean the world to me." I express as I look over at her. She grins and takes my han at hers. Leaning over the console, she kisses my cheek and forehead. "I love you so much." I tell her as I focus on the road.

After coming back from an amazing date, Billie asked if we could just take a drive so that's what we're doing. She ended up rolling up four fat blunts for us to share and I brought the liquor I stole from Iris a few days ago.

"I love you too" She tells me and lights up the first blunt before taking a hit. "Six and a half years we have known each other and I still fall more in love with you every day."

She passes the blunt to me and I take a hit as I stop at a red light. "I need to tell you something." She then says slightly scaring me as her tone changes. Billie runs a hand through her hair nervously before sighing.

"I went to the doctor a week ago and they did some tests on me." Pausing, she looks away from my eyes and plays with her wedding ring. "They ended up calling me back in today to discuss the results on my tes—"

"You better not tell me you pregnant Billie." I say cutting her off as I put the blunt down, shaking my head. "I know I been dicking you down but i promise you it's fake baby girl."

"Halley shut the fuck up." Billie says with a laugh. I shrug my shoulders as I flick my turning signal on. I turn the corner before she speaks again.

"The doctors told me that basically I'm not able to carry a baby full-term. I have what they call a hostile uterus."

Pause

Huh?

What?

I stayed silent for a while as I tried to process what she just said. Every time I thought about us having a family it was always with Billie with a little baby bump. I always dreamed of having a family with Billie so I'm not going to lie I was a little stuck at the moment.

I could feel her staring at me but I couldn't bring myself to speak. "Halley." She called out to me and I just hummed in response. "Did you hear me?" She asks and I had to take in a deep breath.

Pulling over on the side of the road, I put the car in park and turned to look at her. She was looking at me nervously as she played with her fingers. We sat in silence for a moment before I took her hands in mine.

"Are you okay?" I ask her softy causing her to look up and over at me. She opens her mouth to say something before sighing. "We talked about having kids before and I know you dreamed of carrying a child yourself. So how are you feeling baby?" I explain before asking again as I rub my thumb on the back of her hand.

"I-I" She started to say before her eyes became glossy. I instantly sat up, taking her seatbelt off before pulling her into my lap. She buried her face in my neck as she began to silently cry.

I tried to comfort her the best I could, rubbing her back softly. "It's not the best news but baby there are other options for us. I mean I could always carry too and there is also adoption." I say trying to ease her mind. She hiccups as she shifted in my arms before pulling her head out of my neck.

"I-I know" Wiping her eyes, she sighs and leans back to rest her back against the steering wheel. "I just I don't know." She shook her head and played with the ends of my shirt. "The past few months I-I been picturing us having a f-family. I pictured me h-having your baby and I just f-feel like everything is r-ruined now."

Shaking my head, I lifted her chin making her look at me. "Nothing is ruined baby." I told her and she started to pull away from me, not believing my words. "Mama we have all the time in the world to have a family. I don't care how it happens okay? Our child can come from me, an adoption or shit even a surrogate and I'll still be happy."

Rubbing her thighs softy, I pecked her lips twice before pulling away. "We're going to figure this out together baby okay?" She nods her head to my words, laying her head down on my shoulder.

"Words mama.." Squeezing her thigh in my hand, she hummed softly before kissing my neck.

"Okay."

After getting home last night, I cheered Billie up some more with some head. I didn't stop either until she tapped out after she came seven times. We ended up cuddling and talking more about our future before she passed out in my arms.

I woke up before her this morning and decided to go to the gym. I spent about a hour there before I went to the store to get some groceries for the house. I knew Billie was still asleep because she hasn't called me yet. Every time she wakes up without me there, she instantly calls my phone without even checking to see if I was still in the house.

Getting home at around eleven, I went to the kitchen and started cooking breakfast for us. I knew eventually Billie would smell the food and wake up. I ended up making more food than I planned.

I made pancakes, eggs, vegan sausage and bacon, and some salmon cakes. I'm debating if I want to make some biscuits too. We'll see

There goes my baby by Usher is playing through our Alexa and I grabbed my spoon, singing the lyrics.

"There goes my babyyy" I sang dancing around the kitchen as I cleaned up. I had all the food in the stove on keep warm so it could still be hot by time we eat.

I heard shuffling upstairs before footsteps came down the stairs. Billie came into my view and I smiled, walking over to her. A smile plays on her lips as I continue to sing the song.

I've been waiting all day to wrap my hands
Around your waist and kiss your face
Wouldn't trade this feeling for nothing
Not even for a minute

Wrapping my arms around her, I came behind her leaning down to kiss her cheek. She giggles and turns in my arms before pecking my lips softly.

"Hi baby" She whispers against my lips and I smile before deepening the kiss. She moans and I lift her leg, wrapping it around my waist.

"You smell good mama." I mumble as I pull away from her. She pecks my lips and jumps, wrapping her other leg around my waist.

But as soon as you come walking my way
You gon' hear me say

"There goes my babyy" I sing staring into her eyes. Her cheeks flush with blush and I smile licking my lips lowly. "You don't know how it feels to call you my girl."

"There goes my baby" She then sings as I set her down on the kitchen counter. Placing my hands n either side of her, I bend my head down pecking her lips. "Loving everything you do."

"Better love it girl." I say before humping her leg causing her burst out laughing. I laughed with her and she rolled her eyes playfully at me.

"Sick of you" She giggles wrapping her arms around my neck.

"I love you too mama"
