Twenty Three

November 24

"I miss you so much" I smile as Billie pouts on the phone and puff out her cheeks. "I can't wait until tour is over."

I nod in agreement. Billie's tour ends next week which I'm so excited for because then I can finally see her. I haven't seen her in person since I said goodbye to her at the end of her break. I had originally planned to go surprise her at one of her shows but I got sidetracked.

I recently got myself a job at a mechanic shop down the street from my place. I love that job so much. I get to fix cars and sometimes Rico, my boss, would let me bring Hellfire in to work on her. The pay is pretty good too.

Billie likes me to call her while I'm at work because she claims she likes watching me work. She just likes to see me sweaty in my white tank.

"Are you doing anything for thanksgiving?" She asks me after a few minutes of silence. I shake my head no and stand up to head to the kitchen.

"I'm not a big holidays person besides Christmas and Halloween. My two favorite holidays."

"Which one is your number one?" Billie asks.

"Halloween for sure"

She makes a face and shakes her head no. "No Christmas is definitely better"

I shrug and set my phone up on my counter before smiling at her. "Halloween is the one day out of the year where you can anyone you want without judgment."

She looks off to the side before nodding her head at my words. "That is true" She says and hums softly to herself.

"What do you have planned today?"

Billie groans and sighs. "I have three interviews then a shoot for my new perfume"

"Are you excited for your birthday? It's coming up" She immediately grins and begins rambling about all of her plans for her birthday.

"I just want to get fucked up for once you know?"

"I thought you didn't smoke or drink"

Billie shrugs her shoulders before running a hand through her hair. "I don't really not really because I didn't like it but more because my fans use to always talk about my song xanny whenever shit like that was mentioned around me or about me."

She pauses before pressing her lips together in a thin line. "Don't get wrong I use to hate that shit but not as much as my fans made it seem you know?"

"Type shit type shit" I reply as I wash my hands in the sink. "Nah but I get that for sure" I add shaking my head.

"I don't want to go too crazy to point where you got to carry me to the car but enough to where I'm having a good time" She then tells me before a knock sounds on the door.

She gets up to answer it with a loud groan. "Ew it's you" Billie mutters after opening to door to see Finneas. She playfully makes a stank face and walks away from the door. I just barely hear Finneas say something to her before Billie bursts out laughing telling him to shut the fuck up.

"You're such a bozo" She laughs and looks down at her phone. She smiles at me before causally stares at me.

"What" I laugh and grab some green peppers out my fridge. I'm thinking about making some steak and mashed potatoes. Luckily I went to the grocery store last night so I have everything I need to make it.

"You just so fucking beautiful man" Billie exclaims with a goofy smile on her face. I grin as I look at her, slowly admiring her dimples. I love Billie's smile especially with her dimples. I always been a sucker for dimples. I think it's the most adorable feature in the world.

"That's all you mama. I love your smile. I adore it"

Her cheeks slowly turn a soft pink as she looks away from me and tells me to stop it. I only smile and grab my cutting board out my cabinet. "I mean it though" I pause to look at her and smile even more. "You so pretty baby" I tell her.

Her face turns completely pink at this point and she puts her phone down the bed, pleading for me to stop. "Stop it" Billie grins covering her face with her hand. I only smile and look away to grab a knife and wash off the bell pepper.

I honk my horn as I impatiently wait for Iris to hurry the fuck up and get in the car. She texted me about a hour ago asking to go to the gym to which I agreed.

Hurry the fuck up I text her before putting my phone on the charger and connecting to my blue tooth. I wish you Roses by Kali Uchis began playing through my speakers making me smile.

I looked up to see Iris hurrying to the car before getting in. "You didn't have to rush me hoe" She glares at me before rolling her eyes.

"Shut the hell up." I kiss my teeth and put the car in drive. "Had me waiting almost thirty minutes for your slow ass"

She flips me off making us both laugh and shake our heads at each other. "Nah I'm good of that." I say and she shoves my arm in response making me laugh even more.

"How is Billie by the way? Did you guys ever go on that date?"

I shake my head no. "We was suppose to do it when I first went over to her house during the tour break but she just got so busy with interviews and shit like that."

Iris looks at the window and hums in response. "Well I mean at least she's coming back soon so then you guys will have time for it."

She then looks at me with a huge smile on her face. "Are you excited?" Iris then asks making me immediately grin.

"Fuck yes."
