Sixty Seven

Breckenridge, Colorado

"I love you." I look down at Billie with a small smile on my face. "I love you so much and I'm so happy to be here with you in this life."

Billie grins and giggles cutely before pecking my lips. "I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here with you."

"It's new years eve" I say after a few moments making her grin.

"A year ago we were celebrating new years in a hospital and now here we are celebrating it for real." She says as she looks over at the incredible view of our cabin.

For Christmas and New Years, Billie and I decided to celebrate the holidays away from everything. We wanted to throughly enjoy each other through this time in our lives.

Drew and Zoe came with us as well as Iris and Amir. We all ended up getting different cabins just because you know..

"Come on." Billie takes my hand and leads me out of our room and down the stairs. I happily let her drag me to the living room where our friends were. We decided to go to a New Years party which I almost said no, remembering how our last party went.

Billie managed to convince me and I did just want to have a good time so I eventually said okay to going. I ended up matching with Billie who is wearing a pastel blue t shirt with a black hoodie and sweatpants.

It is freezing is Colorado.

We always have to layer up like crazy when we got out which is kind of nice because then I can show off my winter fits more. In Los Angeles, it's cold but it's not like winter coat cold.

"The party is only twenty minutes away so not bad." Zoe says before shrugging her shoulders.

She is wearing a black compression shirt with some grey sweatpants and a thick hoodie. She had her coat already on as well as everyone else. Sliding her gloves on, Zoe grabs her ear muffs and puts them on.

"I can't believe we are leaving in two days." Iris pouts and Amir wraps his arm around her shoulder, kissing her forehead. "It's been nice to get away."

"Yeah it has." Drew nods as she wraps her scarf around her neck.

I look down at Billie who slides her coat on her arms. She grabs her ear muffs and gloves. "We should do little trips like this every where. Going somewhere new every time." She suggests making all of us instantly agree.

"Ooo we should go to Aruba next year!"

"I like that" I mumble as we all head outside. Billie and I get in our rental car with Iris and Amir in the backseat while Zoe and Drew get in their car.

I sigh as I sit in the passenger seat. I let Billie drive tonight just because I wasn't in the mood to drive. Amir offered to drive originally but Iris wanted to be in the back seat. "Can you believe we're going into the new year together?" Iris says as she looks over at her boyfriend with a small smile. "Again." She adds with a laugh.

"A year down and more to go." He tells her as he stares into her eyes. Iris grins brightly and leans over to peck his lips before wiping her lipstick off of his lips softly.

I look over at Billie who is lightly humming to the music playing on the radio. "I can't wait to marry you." I tell her causing her to glance over at me before grinning.

"Only five more months to go!" She exclaims before pulling up behind Drew and Zoe's car as we stop at a red light.

"Then forever." I mumble and she leans towards me, pressing her lips to mine softly.

"Forever."

"Babyy" Billie comes over to me, crashing against my chest as she laughs. I look down at her as she hiccups and smiles up at me. "I m-missed youuu"

"I missed you too mama." All she did was go dance with Drew and Zo for like five minutes. I still missed her though, that's my baby.

Billie is plastered and so is her best friends. Iris and Amir are the only semi sober ones. I'm a little cross faded while Amir is just straight gone out his mind.

I like being crossed though because it's like i'm tipsy but I still have control over myself and more chill; due to the weed. I never had a crazy high or talkative high. I'm always just super mellow.

Iris comes over to her boyfriend and pecks his lips. "Baby come dance." She says making Amir smack his teeth before standing up. I almost laugh at his face because it was clear he does not want to dance.

"Ooo yeah come dance." Billie says pulling my arm slightly. I groan but stand up, allowing her to pull me to the dance floor. We find Drew and Zoe who are dancing with some guys making me shake my head.

Iris and Amir joins us and I stand behind Billie, wrapping my arm around her waist. She leans her head back on my chest as her hips move against me.

"You so fucking fine mama." I say in her ear as I grip her hips in my hands. I could see her smile before her adorable giggle evades my ears.

Billie turns her head, smashing her lips to mine as her lower body grins against mine. I raise my hand and grip her throat as I deepen in the kiss, getting lost in the feeling of her lips.

The loudness of the music gets lost as I raise my free hand to turn my hearing aids off. Complete and utter silence is what greets but I didn't care.

Billie is all I care about in this moment.

She turns around in my arms and wraps her arms around my neck as she leans against me. "Come on let's get a drink." I mumble tapping her bottom twice. She nods and takes my hand, letting me lead her over to the bar.

"Strawberry margarita and" I glance at Billie before looking back at the bartender. "a water" I finish making him nod. I sit down next to Billie on the bar stools and smile over at her.

"Why you looking at me like that?" She asks with a laugh.

I shrug my shoulders as I bite my lip. "You just look good as shit mama." I tell her making blush to appear on her cheeks as she laughs. "All mine." I say as I lean forward, pressing my lips to hers.

She grins against my lips and pulls back to peck my lips twice. "All yours baby." She says and I grin before pecking her lips once more.
