It's been two days since I talked to Billie. We still share the same room unfortunately after everything that had happened. I haven't been to one of her concerts since we been here. I barely leave this room. Billie most of the time is in Finneas' room until it gets very late then she will sneak back into our room.
After Billie told me that she didn't know if the kiss was a mistake or not, I simply just left her alone. I'm not going to try and force her to know her feelings or understand them so I'm leaving her alone. I need my space and quite frankly I'm ready to leave the tour completely.
"Come on Halley!" Finneas knocks on the door making me groan and get up from the bed to open it.
"What?" I ask him
He looks me over and nods his head in approval. "Come on family breakfast plus this is everyone's one free day before our last show and we leave for the next stop" He says and taps his apple watch on his wrist.
I roll my eyes. "I'm not technically family so why do I need to go?"
He frowns. "Whatever happened between you and Billie is none of mine or anyone's business but we all still would like to spend time with everyone besides the awkward tension between you too. Even it's just for a day"
I sigh and nod. "Alright let me get my shoes" I mutter as I close the door. I put my shoes on and tie my hair in a messy bun. I apply some lotions to my arms and face before heading over to the door.
"Okay I'm ready" I tell Finneas as I grab my purse and the hotel key card.
"Great! What do you feel like eating? Mom says it's up to you" He asks me as I follow him down the hallway. I shrug my shoulders. "I don't know" I say as I scratch my arm some.
We reach the elevator and Finneas presses the down button. I feel bad that I can't be much help right now but I'm just not in the mood. This whole situation with Billie might have affected me more than I thought.
The elevator ride was silent and when we reached the lobby, I wasted no time in getting out of there. I saw Maggie talking to Patrick and she waved me over.
"Good morning dear, how did you sleep?" She asks, giving me a hug. I smile lightly and hug her back. "I slept okay. How are you?"
"I been okay. Did Finneas tell you that it's your choice on what we eat?" I nod and look away from Maggie before sighing lightly. "If I'm being honest, I'm not really that hungry Maggie" She frowns and leans back to fully look at me.
"Oh? Well would you like to do something today?" I stare at Maggie for a moment, not knowing if I should tell her the truth or not. Truthfully, I don't want to do anything but watch tv in my hotel room. Of course I didn't want to be rude so I just told her I wanted to just take a ride around the city.
"Oh we can get you a car to drive around in" She says before walking to the lady at the front desk.
What?
"Is she serious?" I ask Patrick who laughs at my question and pats me on the back. He then follows Maggie to the front desk.
What the hell just happened?
I got sit down next to Finneas on the small couch in the sitting area. He smiles at me and continues to text someone on his phone. "Who u texting?" I smirk as I watch as his face immediately goes red.
"My wife Claudia" He says with a small smile on his face.
Not me thinking they was just dating
"When am I going to be able to meet this Claudia" I say as my phone buzzes in my pocket. He begins to go on a rant about how amazing and wonderful she is.
She truly sounds like someone special. "Anyways she's not my wife, not yet at least. We been together for a long time and I think it's time I popped the question." He says with an anxious sigh.
"Are you ready?"
He looks at me and smiles. "As I'll ever be" I grin and pat him on the back. "I'm happy for you Finn"
A throat clears and we look over to see Billie standing a few feet away, staring straight at me. Clenching my jaw, I sigh and move away from Finneas.
"Bil you finally ready?" She walks over to her brother then they both share their little sibling handshake that I'm not even going to lie, I want to learn it so bad.
"I couldn't find my other shoe" She tells me making me shuffle a small laugh. I pull my phone out to see Iris calling me.
"Hey babes" I smile as I answer the call, putting my phone to my ear.
"Hi!"
"I missed you! What you doing?" I hear her shuffling around before there's a bunch of background sounds. "I'm walking into a hotel"
"Hotel? Where are you?"
I can practically smiling over the phone. "Oh you know..somewhere nowhere" She pauses before clearing her throat. "Hey! I see this girl dressed just like you"
I raise an eyebrow before laughing. "There's no one who dressed just like me" I say and look at Finneas and Billie who appeared to be smiling and looking at something behind me.
"True then maybe you should turn around so you can see her"
Frowning, I slowly turn around in the seat to see the one person in this world that could always me funny in just an instance. My face breaks out into a bright smile before I rush to my feet and run toward my smiling best friend.
Jumping into her arms, she squeals as we both crash to the ground. "Iris!" I scream hugging her tightly.
"Halley!" She hugs me back and I cry into her neck.
"I missed you so much" I tell her and we roll over until she's on top of me. She stand to her feet, pulling me up with her.
"How are you here? When did you land?"
Iris smiles and points her finger back at Billie. "It's not every day you get a call from someone as famous as she."
