BILLIE
June 18
Los Angeles, California

"I love you" Halley kisses my hand making me smile. She decided to take me out tonight, not that I'm complaining. We were currently at this restaurant waiting for our food.

"I love you too."

Halley hums in response and looks around the restaurant. "What are you thinking about?" I ask as I move my head to rest on the palm of my hand.

"You." She replies and smiles over at me. "Us. Our relationship."

I tilt my head as I wait for her to continue. "You brought so much happiness to my life. I didn't realize how lost I was until you came into my life Billie."

"You mean everything to me and so much more." She whispers making me tear up at her words. "I love you so much you don't understand."

I couldn't even speak. I just stood up and walked to the other side of the table. I smashed my lips to hers as she pulls me into her lap, being mindful that I was in a dress.

"I love you so much Halley." I smile as I pull away, staring into those mesmerizing eyes of hers. "My Halley's Comet." I press my lips to hers once more and wrap my arms around her neck as she kisses me back.

"Where are you taking me?" I ask as we stop in front of a hotel. Halley just smiles over at me before getting out the car. She walks over to my side and opens my door, helping me out the car.
Giving her keys to valet, she takes my hand and leads inside. I gawk at the fanciness of the hotel and feel Halley pulling me to the front desk.

It feels weird to be somewhere fancy or money expensive when it's me the one that's paying for it. In relationships I ended up always being the breadwinner. I didn't receive the princess treatment, my ex boyfriends did.

Being with Halley, it made me realize how different she is than my exes. She didn't ask me for money. If it was her taking me out, she is paying for everything. Even when I'm the one who asked her out, she would still try to pay for the bill.

It feels nice to be taken care of sometimes.

Her new job definitely giving her that good money though because she been starting to pay for nails. She would take me on random shopping sprees. And when I ask why she would do it, she would say that I deserve this and so much more.

My baby just like thattt

I was so deep into my thoughts I didn't even realize that we were now in the elevator. Halley was leaned against the elevator doors, watching me. "What?" I laugh and she shakes her head, smiling at me.

"You just so fucking beautiful Bil." She murmurs before leaning forward to peck my lips.  I smile and lean myself into her, enjoying the feeling of being in her arms.

"I want to show you something." She says as the elevator dings letting us know we reached our floor. "But I need you to close your eyes for me."

I did as she said and close my eyes. I trust her enough to know that she wouldn't let everything happen to me. She takes my hands and starts leading me out of the elevator.

A gust of wind hits me making me realize that were probably on the roof. I let her guide me to where she wanted to go before I feel her let go of my hand.

"Why you—" "Don't open your eyes mama. Give me a second." I nod my head and feel her leave my side. It grew quiet between us, only sounds I could hear were just the traffic from down below.

When I was growing restless, I heard Halley call my name. "Open your eyes." She tells me and I don't waste no time.

The scene in front of me made me instantly welled up in tears. I cover my mouth with my hands as I see Halley standing in front of a flower display with the words It was always you standing proudly beside her.

I couldn't even speak as tears ran down my cheeks like a flood. She held her hand out for me and I made my way down the small pathway of flowers and candles before placing my hands in hers.

"Billie O'Connell, there's so much I could say to you right now." She stares down at me with such love and admiration in her eyes, I cried harder. "You, baby, you my lifeline. You came into my life and made me remember what true happiness felt like. You made me feel things I have never felt in a whole life. You always been my number one since day one. I love you so much baby and I will forever love you until my dying breath."

She smiles down at me before she pulls a small velvet box out of her pocket. I let out a sob as she gets down on one knee and looks up at me as she holds up the box. "I don't want nobody else but you. You deserve the world and I want to be one to give you that and so much more mama. I can't spend another day without officially calling you my forever. So that being said." She pauses and opens the small box, revealing the most beautiful ring I have ever seen.

"Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O'Connell, will you make me the most happiest person alive and marry me?"

I couldn't even speak at this point. I could only smile and jump myself in her arms. Pressing my lips to hers, I gave her my answer and so much more. She grins against my lips as she stands to her feet with me in her arms.

"I'm guessing that's a yes" She says as she pulls away, wiping my tears away. I laugh and smile at her through my tears. She bends down to kiss them away gently and grips my waist in hers

"It will forever be a yes." I say wasting no time in smashing my lips to hers once more.
