chapter 15

"Okay take 10,but while you rest start prepping for the obstacle challenge" sunshine said pointing towards mid field
        We were all surprised at the obstacle arranged,Lisa was partly right we weren't gonna make it out without a scratch,people started complaining and groaning,this place felt more like military camp than a Christian camp.
     This day was too slow judging by the intensity of the sun it was probay 9 am, other days you would pray for the day to pass slowly so you could get enough sleep but not today definitely not today.
      
     The obstacle seemed impossible but we had to do it anyways. We had to begin by running towards a barrel, climb over it and jump down,running again and climbing over a barrel rolling it with your feet while your still on it towards a marked area then crawling inside at most 6 tires tied together and out,running a few distance and jumping over an obstacle, how hard can that be i thought to myself.
     The sound of a whistle caused decorum
"Each group has their obstacle and each person must go through the obstacle twice,since y'all are new to the drills I suggest team work" sunshine said

Oh no,she is gonna make me break my leg and do a victory dance after that or what if she pushes me those were the thoughts that lingered in my mind

"You guys should proceed to your obstacles" Ms Military lady said
     I felt a churn in my stomach and I didn't have to feel it twice to know I was nervous,I was literally about to trust my life to a girl that didn't like me for no reason whatsoever.
   We all assembled to the obstacles,each pair to one

"Now watch me" she said and off. she went through the obstacles,she was a natural moving smoothly like a leaf in the wind,she made it seem like it was nothing
     There is a saying that goes like when you are really scared to jump,it is then you should jump or you will never do it and that was what I was thinking about,its now or never

"Can I go first" I asked my partner

"By all means,break a leg" she said making way for me
     It was easier than I thought,well I am tall with a small body which only aided more of my movements,it was easy to climb,jump,crawl but Kinda difficult to role the obstacle but I did it after different failed attempts,I did the first round without breaking a leg in your face partner
     Everyone tried at least twice most people had difficulty rolling the barrels while others crawling into tires well mostly girls,I blame it on the fact that they didn't know what insect was possibly inside or where it had been but their partners helped with moral support and to steady the tires.
    It was all over thankfully,at least for the day and I was more than happy to go bathe because lets face it we all stunk,after freshening up we were to all meet up at the conference all in an hour

"Am so so glad we could escape that hell hole,shez a witch" Britt said falling to her bed

"You can say that again,my manis and pedis are all messed up and there is dirt in my hair" Lisa whined

"Let's face it,we would have worse days ahead,to sunshine this is all probably warm up" I said heading to the bathing stalls
     We headed to the conference hall as soon as we were done with cleaning, getting there in time we noticed the circular arrangements and that some guys and the mysterious goth girl were already sitted

"Okay y'all are probably wondering what your doing here instead of having lunch" Mrs Carmen said
"To help you relate more i thought that we could have an introduction session but decided against it noticing how tired and hungry you all look,so instead,we are all gonna wear name tags around our neck so that after lunch we would have a proper introduction" she said and my stomach kept making unpleasant sounds all through her long speech,it sounded like elephants crying no kidding,done blame me I haven't eaten breakfast not to talk of lunch
     We formed a queue,collected our name tags and off we went for lunch

  Really,thanks mum for this torturous summer,what was she thinking I said to myself leaving

Maybe this isn't the best chapter and am sorry but I feel really sleepy but I didn't wanna sleep without updating it.....am really happy today,was hoping to get 400 reads by Sunday but its Thursday and I have 426 so a really heart warming thank you to everyone and yeah this book actually gets better.
