Alexia's POV
When we entered the cabin,no one was there and I was grateful,I wasn't much of a peoples person.

"You gave me quite a fright there, you know " I said helping beth to her bed

"Am sorry, I really am but I wanted to be alone" she said sincerly sorry

"Yeah,I guess you got that,at least for a while" I said wiggling my eyebrows

"Is your eyebrow itchy" she asked giggling

"No silly,you know what I mean" I said poking her sides

"No I don't" she blurted out

"You were alone for a while,the prince charming came along and you both were alone" I said with enthusiasm

"I thought you don't watch those girly princess stuffs" she said trying to change the subject

"I will give you thumbs up for trying to change the subject" I said
"But seriously how did he find you so easily,I mean I looked under every nook and cranny of this God created camp" I continued
Beth was blushing,did she like this eddy guy?, of course she does,they both had that chemistry thingy meaning he likes her too,how else would he find her,I bet they have a secret hide out

"So you wanna tell me why you ran out like a crazy hyena" I asked more seriously
Everything went tense and I knew she could feel it because she was shifting uncomfortably

"That would be after I eat" she giggled lightly rubbing her stomach
I helped her to clean up,ate dinner and no one spoke about the events of this night,at least for now. Her ankle worsened because of the amount of force applied on it,I wonder how she handled the pain then,oh well

Beth's POV
My ankle worsened the night I fled, I regret nothing because I had to get away then. Alexia forgot to ask me the reason I fled or better yet that was what she made me feel, knowing Alexia she would aske me sooner or later,I would rather much prefer later or never,we got along pretty well and yeah I have been hanging out with Ed a lot,that's after his daily drills though,lucky for me since I have a bad ankle I am let off all the drills till it gets better and so is Alexia because she is my partner
Its been a week and the drills are officially over today,we all are gathered in the conference hall,everyone dressed in their uniforms,sunshine took the podium and she is smiling and its not the creepy ones she always flashed,she is really smiling,she is kinda creepy tho,one second she is frowning and spitting out orders and the next she is smiling from one ear to the other,like I said creepy
"Its been nice hanging out with everyone" she said meekly

"You are probably wondering why I made you do those drills"she continued

"It all has moral lessons,first off it strengthens your relationship.
The thing about getting to the field before 6 would make you remember that been timely is a key to success.
When I told you to hold hands and pass through the gutter didnt mean I hated you,it seemed hard at first bit you guys did it and laughed a few times in the process,that was to teach you about team spirit,no man is left behind even when seeming like a burden.
The part when I paired you up making you climb,jump and crawl through things was to prove to you that you could do just anything.
When you guys crawls under the pouring rain,beside the ocean that could pick up waves anytime, am sure most of you thought I was going crazy,for a second I thought I was but we risked it all and thankfully no one got hurt and now you know that some risks are worth taking" sunshine said in an inspirational manner.
She went on and on about the benefits of boot camp and it fawned on me that I went through a lot and all but am stronger than I think. I left the conference hall happy,smiling like a Cheshire cat,we were all heading to the cafeteria when I felt a tap,turning to where it came from I saw eddy and my smile only broadened, don't get me wrong I haven't forgotten Evans,how can I but he isn't here now.

"Look who is all happy and smiling" Ed said grinning

"What?, a girl isn't allowed to be happy,its a free country ya know" I said looking at him all innocent staring at him with my big brown eyes,compelling him to I don't even know what

"Okay,okay you know that look always gets me" he said smiling

"Yea,yeah it gets everyone,so how are you" I asked
We were already sitted in the cafeteria

"Am very good thanks and yeah I have to give you something but not here" he said looking all mysterious

"Umm....okay I guess" I said unsure
He got up and stretched out his hands for me to take

"You mean like now" I asked

"Am not gonna do anything wrong,don't you trust me" he said chuckling

"Well,you can't blame me for my trust issues" I said taking his hands
Minutes later we were both in my favourite place in the camp,the beach,I was wondering why I was here but still glad I was.
"So you want to drown me" I said side smiling

"You wish" he said smiling,I would have loved to swim tho even if I can't swim

"Soo...." I continued
We were both quiet then he turned to look at me,searching for something in my eyes,I wish I knew what,he stuffed his hands in his pocket bringing out a necklace,I looked closely and saw it was the shell from the other day,it was beautiful, I stared in awe as I watched him put it round my neck

"Its now yours" he simply said
I smiled and traced my hands slowly on it,it was really beautiful

"You would wanna close your mouth now,we don't want stuffs entering it" he said chuckling
I realized it was opened so I closed it immediately and felt my cheeks heat up

"Thank you" that was all that I could breath out

"Anytime" he said smiling
