A/N:

Hi!

so while i was writing this chapter something came up--I mean i suddenly thought of another interesting idea so i had no choice but to revise chapter 7 because the events in that chapter will be mentioned here. The revision is not something major but i still suggest that you go back and read it just to avoid confusion and questions. But if you don't want to reread it then that's just fine with me.

if you have been following this story for a while, i really thank you from the bottom of my heart and hope that you guys will continue to do so.

i've been thinking of a lot of interesting things that i can put in this story to make it more exciting for you...it may not happen right away but little by little i promise. hahah. and also i apologize for the slow updates. i know that waiting for a new chap sucks that's why in exchange, i make sure that every chapter is enough but still leave you craving for more! ;) haha

again, thanks for reading wistcoastia!

happy reading!

till next time!

Reena: It’s Monday again and I’m starting to hate it especially when it’s only a week left before the exams.

The training camp was a success, they informed me (well excluding what happened to Edward and myself) and they were dead tired at the end of the third day.

“Was there really a competition last Saturday like what Kyle mentioned?” I ask, we are currently sitting together and posing as a study group. Our teacher said that we’ll have no class during his subject because he wants us to review for the upcoming exams. I heard from my older brothers that the exams are difficult here in Philanter Academy.

“Yup, there was.” Mariella says. “It was fun to watch actually even though all of us are tired and sore all over. The contestants fought well. Oh, can you guess who the champion became?”

From the look on her face, I already have an idea who won. “Kyle Rome.”

She nods and I give her an I-should-have-known look.

“He is a good fighter and I was really surprised with his style.” Alexia says without looking up from her book. She is the only one who is actually studying among the three of us. “He really has mastered the used of his two short swords.”

I remember his fight with Edward near the greenhouses…I never mentioned this to anyone. I agree with what Alexia said, he really is a good fighter.

“In your opinion, how strong is he?” I ask, curiously. Alexia is always good in analyzing people. She’s so smart.

“Hmmm…” alexia puts down her book and thinks for a while. “Well…I think with his abilities and skills, he is qualified to become part of the student council.”

“What?” I exclaim in disbelief. “He’s that strong? But thought that the SC are the seven strongest and most competent students in the academy. And then there’s the SDT (Student Defense Team) that are next in strength to the SC.”

“That was just my opinion, Reena based from what I saw his fights.” Alexia says. “The final match was between him and a member of the SDT by the way—though I don’t know what his rank is.”

“Rank?”

“Yes,” Mariella says. “The members of the SDT are ranked from 1 being the strongest and 10 being the weakest.”
