Reena: I didn’t expect that after all that happened, I would be able to say that I enjoyed school. I’m sure that when my father hears about this, he would flip or something.
Now that I have fully recovered, I can now do some training again. I still haven’t forgotten my fight with Anisse De Valgo. I just hope that she still remembers it.
I told Mariella to go to the dorms without me. I told her that I want to stop by the student council’s office to talk to Anisse.
“Reena,” Mariella says. “Are you really serious about this?”
“I just want to test my abilities. I’m confident with my skills.” I say.
“Don’t underestimate her…you might regret it.”
“I will not regret anything.” I say. “I’ll defeat her.”
Mariella sighs. “Just remember that I warned you, okay?”
“Stop worrying…”
“Reena, the members of the student council are the strongest here in Philanter Academy.”
“Then they will be a great challenge for me.” I say. “I haven’t lost a fight, you know.”
Mariella just give me a disapproving look. “You are so stubborn…”
I just smil at her then go off towards their office.
Club hours usually start after classes. I can tell that the whole of the fifth floor is busy. Doors are opening left and right and students keep walking down the corridor. Some recognizes me then stare. I don’t mind them and walk straight to my destination.
I knock on the door then enter.
“Welcome, what can we do for you?” someone said just as I take my first step inside.
The one who welcomed me have a warm smile on his face and boyish features. His hair is wavy and his hazel-colored eyes look so innocent.
“I’m Ernest Polterain, Miss Brightnott…” he offers me his hand.
He knows my name already. Well what can I expect? That Edward might already had told them sorts of things already. Hmph.
“I am looking for Anisse De Valgo.”
“Please take a seat for a while.” He says then went into their main office. I sat like he said on one of the couches.
I look around their large sitting room. It is still the same like the first time I went here. Now that I am here, I suddenly remember my katanas. Oh, I miss them…they were my every day companions in Lidora.
Those katanas are very special to me even though, I can’t remember how I got them. I just know that they are very important to me.
The door opens and Vincent and Edward Sanders come in. I want to go straight out of the office the moment I see Edward but I control myself since I needed something to know from Anisse. I try to avoid his eyes but I can still feel his cold stare.
“Miss Brightnott, what a surprise…” Vincent says.
“Y-yeah…I-I just want t-to talk to Anisse.”
Right on cue, the one we are talking about goes out of the main office and join us in the sitting room.
“Hello, Reena. Ernest told me that you are looking for me?”
“Yes…I just want to know if you have already forgotten about our…?”
Anisse laughs. “Oh so it’s about that! Of course! I haven’t forgotten it one bit! I am actually looking forward to it…”
