The bathroom door of your rented apartment in San Francisco opened and a cloud of steam escaped the opening, with you walking in the midst of it. Your body was wrapped in a big white towel while you used the smaller one to dry your hair. Your fuzzy slippers hit the wooden floor as you walked towards the small kitchen to put up your breakfast.

You hummed a melody of a K-pop song that has been stuck in your mind since yesterday as you unpacked the bread and put the two pieces in the toaster. Pushing the small button on the machine, you leaned back on the kitchen island to watch the small dark drops of coffee fill your cup.

Toasted bread sprung up and you plated it next to some fruits, spreading butter on one piece while continuing to hum that song. Still sitting wrapped in a towel, with your hair damp, you bit into the toast and then threw a small strawberry in your mouth, swaying left and right to the rhythm of the song.

Your breakfast was interrupted by the ringing of your smartphone, coming from your bedroom. You dropped the toast and hopped off the tall chair by the kitchen island as you recognized the ringtone melody, knowing well that only one person called you on this app's video chat - it was installed only for him.

You almost fell as your slipper decided to twist as you ran, but you managed to come to your room and grab your phone from the bed. Regaining your breath, you combed your hair with your fingers and nodded to yourself before pressing the answer button. The small screen with your face came up first before his video turned on. But, once seeing his sweet smile, you smiled big too.

"Heeeyy," he waved, leaning back in his computer chair.

"Hi baby!" you waved back, "How are you?"

He smiled more, leaning back on the table and closer to the camera, "I just finished my live. And you?"

You gasped, "Oh, my god! What?! I missed it!" you pouted.

"Yeah, I had to keep it short 'cause I have work to do. But I still wanted to call and see how's my sexy girl doing..." he smirked and you could feel the blush creeping on your face.

"Oh, shut up, Chan!" you dropped down on the bed, your hair spreading on the sheets, "I was just having breakfast after my morning shower..." you sighed and rolled your eyes up to the ceiling, listing today's schedule, "After the breakfast, I'll do some work, and later I'm meeting up with Sarah for a coffee and chitchat before she leaves for London," then you looked down at Chan who attentively listened to you, "And what are you up to today, my handsome boyfriend?"

You smirked and Bang Chan immediately got shy, pulling down his black beanie over his face. You both laughed and you waited for him to calm his cute giggles and tell you about his day.

"Ummm..." he started, rocking and spinning in his black chair while looking around the room, also going over his schedule, "Since it's Sunday, we didn't have any shootings. I'm mostly in the studio, working with Han and Changbin. We still didn't complete our album which is why I had a short live. We can't stay up for too long since we have a flight for Japan in the morning so..." he sucked in the air and let it out through his teeth, shrugging his shoulders.

"Awww, that's a bummer..." you let out a sigh as well, "I'll go to Japan only next week so we won't see each other... again."

"Yeah..." he sighed as well but put up a wide smile, "Well, I'm never losing hope," Chan added, "It's true that we didn't see each other for over a year now but there will surely be a chance for that soon."

"Thank you for trying to cheer me up every time, Channie, but our schedules never align..." you said with another sad sigh.

"Don't worry baby, it'll be alright," he continued smiling, "Go and give Miyano-san the best interview!"
