You plopped down on the soft cushion cover of the wooden chair with a loud huff. You fanned yourself with a carton folder where you stored all of the important papers that you needed for the day. The frown didn't leave your face and your friend, who was already seated on the opposite side of the small round table, watched you curiously, stopping to stir the coffee on the table. The silence went on as you watched each other. Your leg was fidgeting under the table in pure annoyance and the emotions could clearly be read from your face.

"Another fail?" Hyunjin asked, rising the small plastic spoon from his coffee. He put it in his mouth to lick off the excess coffee and foam from it and you watched as the small piece of plastic glided out of his mouth, between his soft full lips.

"You think?" you raised a brow at him and he only shrugged, leaning back in his seat.

You let out another annoyed sigh and hit the paper folder in your hand on the small table just outside the café you agreed to meet Hyunjin at.

"Fourth flop this month, Hyunjin! Fourth!" you hissed, showing four fingers to him. But then you calmed down a bit as a waitress approached your table, asking for your order, "I'll have the same as him, please," you answered and she nodded, going back into the café. You leaned forward again, to continue your complaining to Hyunjin, "I go to job interviews every week, Hyunjin," you talked through your gritted teeth and he nodded, "Every single week I dress up in pencil skirts and white shirts, put up my hair in a tight bun, put up a fake ass smile, and answer the most ridiculous of questions they ask me. I wait for hours only for some bitch ass secretary to say that 90% of us gathered there didn't get the job. And I seriously don't know what I'm doing wrong!" you unintentionally raised your voice but straightened in your seat again when the waitress returned, carrying your espresso with extra cream.

Hyunjin sighed. Running his fingers through his long black hair, he almost made the waitress spill the hot coffee on your lap. The poor girl excused herself and went back. You rolled your eyes and leaned back in the seat. And despite the cushions on the chair being soft, you had a feeling as if you were sitting on needles - the nerves in your body just couldn't calm down.

"Okay, listen..." Hyunjin started, taking a sip of his coffee. You impatiently waited as he drank the espresso, really taking his time to savor its flavor.

His long fingers, holding the small white cup so gently, slowly let the cup down on its small plate and his dark eyes returned to you. All of his moves were so precise and elegant but you couldn't do that to yourself - you can't and shouldn't fall for your best friend.

"Care to continue your thought?" you raised your brow at him again and he let out a small chuckle before crossing his long legs in dark trousers and watching you curiously, enjoying your nervousness.

"Relax, princess," he started and you rolled your eyes, "I can't talk when you're angry..."

"Shut up," you clicked your tongue and he grinned, "If you have something to say then say it."

"Fine," he raised his hands, coming forward and putting his elbows on the round glass table, "I might have a solution to your problem," he said carefully and you sat up straight, now fully focused on his words. Hyunjin licked his lower lip, not hiding his enjoyment that he controlled you and the current situation.
