Following your supervisor into the large building, you took notes on what she had been talking about ever since you two sat in the back seat of a luxurious black car. It was your first time working as a PR manager and learning from the best was what you needed. Of course, the company won't throw you in the fire immediately as you have never worked in the field, but your manager would gradually hand over the job to run this new store by yourself.
"Okay, so..." tall and slim manager Matsumoto Yuka walked beside you, her silk back hair tied in a high ponytail swaying in the rhythm her heels were clicking. She held an open file in her hands, showing you the contract, "A group of eight men is opening this store. Called their brand 'Stray Kids'," she sighed and rolled her eyes, "Immature if you ask me but we're just here to work so the brand name shouldn't concern us. As long as it sells well," Yuka paused to push the heavy glass door open.
The two of you stepped inside the store where the shelves were still empty and the room was still dark. And even though the space of the room was empty, you could feel it squeezing you tighter than the black pencil skirt and tight blazer you were wearing. The room held some strange energy, the energy you couldn't decipher. It would be your first time meeting these men and helping them build up their brand. On your way to the store, Yuka told you about them - even though all eight were the creators, owners, and developers, the one leading this team - Bang Chan - was the one who signed the contract as the legal owner of the firm and, strangely, you couldn't wait to meet him. Because, judging from the brand name alone, you figured that this was a "chill" group that considered themselves as family, with a magnificent leader.
Your name was being called and you flinched from your thoughts, turning to Yuka who just came from the back of the store, "Delivery trucks are here. They're ready to unload the packages. I'll leave the sorting to you because I need to take care of the numbers," she placed her manicured hand on your shoulder. She gave you a small smile, "Don't let the jitters eat you up - decorate and sort out this place however you'd like. As I said, these guys are free-spirited but they mean business - so be chill yet professional, okay?"
"Got it," you nodded back at her, flashing a smile. Yuka nodded as well and walked away, leaving you with workers who just kept bringing in an uncountable amount of boxes and you had to organize and direct them. Your first task was up.

The clock on the wall was ticking, the longer needle showing that it would be 5 o'clock soon and the owners would arrive at any moment. The guests for the store's grand opening were arriving more by the minute, and the servers circulated around, serving champagne and carbonated water, the one you were currently drinking. And something about this water poured in a tall glass from a small green glass bottle felt... expensive?
You shrugged at your thoughts and suddenly rows of camera flashes started appearing, the crowd of people pushing at the entrance of the store.
"They're here," Yuka leaned over your shoulder but you kept your eyes glued to the crowd, gulping down the last bit of carbonated water in your mouth.
The energy in the room suddenly changed and it felt more tense and even more expensive than the damned water. The crowd split, allowing the men in expensive black suits to enter. One after another, you counted eight well-dressed men, the aura they held carrying a different energy than the rest of the people there.
"They're going to hold a little 'fashion show' first," Yuka added and you finally turned to her, looking for an explanation. She showed you the schedule, "We'll clear this place up, the guests will wait in the back so that the guys can film a short runway whereas the videos will be used for making the commercial," she explained but then changed the tone and looked up from the paper, "Oh, Mr. Bang! It's good to see you again. We were just discussing today's schedule," Yuka chimed and you followed her gaze that was fixed on the black-haired man in a black suit, flashing the two of you his biggest smile. The dimple on his cheek took you aback and you found his smile extremely charming.
