I had to admit, seeing this arrogant pretty boy vampire's smugness decay into outright terror at the sight of me was pretty amusing, though I needed to get answers.
I backed away and went into a sitting position, waiting for him to continue and hoping it would calm him down enough to talk.
"Only I k-know where she is. So you have to let me lead the way."
I stared at him without so much as moving, my eyes studying him.
"B-but I must ask that you power down first-"
Before he could get another word out I stood on all fours and growled at him, my teeth beared and ready strike if he said something I didn't like.
He shrunk back like a mouse face to face with a cat as he babbled.
I swear I could hear his voice breaking like he was gonna cry.
God he was so pathetic; it took everything not to take him out of his misery.
"Iswearifyoudoanythingtomethegirlisgonnadie!"
He had his back to the wall as he flailed about like a scared child, his head hanged down and shaking as if to deny the reality of his situation.
I didn't have the time or patience to deal with his...disposition so I went ahead and changed back into my human form against my better judgment.
He stopped flailing and slowly raised his head, his arm still in the air.
I just glowered at him, folding my arms.
"You better not be pulling anything," I menaced. "Hurry up and get off the floor."

We ran for what felt like hours in the dark woods, narrowly evading branches keeping up with this guy.
"Are we getting any closer? You better not've set me up!" I yelled after him as I ran.
"I can assure you we are close," he yelled back while not looking back, "Just stay close and we'll be there!"
When we finally got there, I could feel my anger by ringing inside my stomach.
It was an abandoned cabin that was so run down the wood was discolored.
I also caught the scent of mold and immediately covered my nose to keep from breathing it in, still recalling the stench from earlier.
I shot a death stare at the vampire.
"Bastard!"
He flinched as I raised my arms at him.
"W-wait!"
Like hell I was. You had one chance and you blew it.
Before I could reach him I felt a sharp pain in my back.
I leaned back as the pain surged throughout my body, seeping its way into my bones.
Although I wasn't exactly in the condition to think straight, this pain was very familiar to me, as well as the smell it gave off.
Vampiric pheromones.
One thing that gave it away was the smell of something burning, though depending on how powerful a vampire was, the smell would be stronger or weaker.
Only us beastmen could pick it up.
The smell was practically searing my nostrils, and that told me this was a particularly strong vampire indeed.
Damn.
I cursed myself silently before giving into unconsciousness.
!!!!!!!!!
I couldn't make out anything quite yet as my senses were dulled from the pheromone and the only thing working being my sense of smell and touch, limited as it was.I could smell that shit-eating vampire's scent coming from behind me, as well as various foods and drinks.
Which struck me as odd because vampires rarely ate, if anything at all.
All they really needed was blood.
I could also catch the smell of Gwendolyn, though her smell was faint.
At least I finally found her.
What I didn't smell was the odor of mold or anything that came from the cabin; in fact, it smelled like we were in some well kept apartment.
Did we relocate?
If so, that wasn't too surprising since vampires can move rather quickly, though it would prove a problem for plans of escape.
I tried my best to move, though I could feel my hands and feet were bound by ropes.
Had I been in my best shape these binds would be nothing for me, but I could barely see and I didn't want to take the chance of tipping off the loser's friends that I had broken free.
"It's best that you don't move," a voice in front of me said calmly. "We wouldn't want to pull any muscles, would we?"
I immediately felt the blood drain from my face at the sound of this new voice.
It couldn't be him.
It absolutely couldn't be!
If this is who I think it is, things would go a whole lot worse than it already has.
One thing that bothered me more than anything was that I couldn't catch any scent from him at all.
Why couldn't I get anything off of him?!
I heard a low chuckle rumble from the voice, making me wince.
"What, have you remembered me, Howl? How touching."
The smugness in his words were sickening.
"I'm sure you're wondering why I am here, yes?"
I didn't answer, but that didn't stop him from talking.
"Now don't laugh but the Valley rarely has any adequate sunlight, you see? I thought it would be good to catch a few rays and stretch my wings a bit.
"And guess what? Lucky little me found a tasty human and a dirty little werewolf all in one!"
I could feel the venom radiating from his words despite that happy-go-lucky attitude he liked to put on.
I studied his words, not quite piecing together everything, though if that was because of my waking up from unconsciousness or not, I couldn't tell.
All I knew was that I was in big trouble.
