Lalay

Tumawag si julie para sabihing nasa airport nadaw siya and papuntang emerald hotel dahil gusto niya makipag catch up saakin. Bumalik na ko sa table namin ni Xavier,

"So, how's OJT?" Sabi ni xavier.

"It's fine, medyo stressful pero okay lang para matapos na." Sabi ko.

"Lalay, thank you so much."

"For what?"

"For this, closure." Sabi niya while smiling.

"Wala yun! Everybody deserves closure." Sabi ko while smiling. "Ikaw kamusta ka? Kayo ni kate?"

"Well, there was never love in our relationship..."

"Parang friends with benefits?"

Tumango siya, "please understand lalay na i was stupid that time."

"That time lang? " i attempted to joke.

Natawa siya, "hard." Sabi niya while smiling and shaking his head. "Same old lalay."

I smiled, this dinner wouldn't be so bad after all.

Arkin

"You stay there." Tinuro ko yung sofa. Pumunta siya doon at umupo.

Umupo ako sa isang wooden chair sa may TV, para malayo ako kay Jessie. Nasa magkabilang side kami ng room pero magkatapat kami.

"Arkin, sorry." Sabi niya.

"No, you're not."

"Please!" Sigaw niya tapos lumuhod, "i'll do anything!"

"You can't."

"We both know na i can!" Sigaw niya. Umirap ako, she's spoiled so she haw her way to anything pwera saakin I'm not that dumb anymore. That was the old Arkin.

"I won't let you, dahil wala ka na magagawa. The damage has been done, you've done so much to hurt me." Sabi ko while crossing my arms.

"Arkin I don't know what else to say." Sabi niya.

"You went behind my back to f*ck my bestfriend and ruin our friendship!" Sinigaw ko sakanya. "I hate you for that."

She opened her mouth to speak pero walang words na lumabas,

"You are the most ungrateful b*tch that i have ever met." Sabi ko sakanya. Nag frown siya. Nagsalita ulit ako-

"Why would i forgive you for something na ginusto mo? Why would i forgive you for something na ikinasaya mo? Tapos after 2 years tsaka mo lang maiisipan na pumunta dito at mag apologize?" Sinabi ko sakanya. Huminga ako ng malalim, nag try siyang magsalita pero inunahan ko siya "HUWAG KA NANG MAG DENY! MAKINIG KA SAAKIN! WAG KA MUNA MAG REACT!"

"Now tell me honestly, why are you so desperate to get me back?"

"I love you arkin."

"Bullsh*t jessie, sino niloko mo? I'm not falling for your crap again. Besides i don't love you back nor do i even like you." Sabi ko sakanya.

"Arkin, please!"

"No! Napaka selfish mo! Gugustuhin mo maging boyfriend ang wala namang may gusto saiyo at hindi masaya saiyo para lang maging masaya ka. Kailan kaya darating yung araw na iisipin mo naman yung ibang tao,jessie? Darating pa kaya yung araw na yun? Or magiging stuck up b*tch ka nalang for the rest of your life?"

Wala siyang masabi so i took that chance to talk again, "i love someone more than i loved you or any other, and this time alam ko na hindi niya ako sasaktan tulad mo."

"Arkin-"

"Stop it Jessie. If you really love me, let me be happy."

And with that, lumabas na ako ng kwarto niya at pumunta sa kwarto ko.
