"WHAT DO YOU MEAN WE AREN'T TRAINING TODAY?!"

Lucy moaned in her sleep, who was that yelling so early in the morning?

"WHAT? WHY HER?!"

She rolled over in her sleeping spot and felt a short gust of wind. Though it was small, it made her shiver and crave something warm. It was strange though, Lucy's never been cold during the night. Lucy rolled around again and found out she wasn't hitting anything.

"IGNEEL THIS IS UNFAIR!"

Lucy blinked open her eyelids and came face to face with blades of grass. If she looked ahead she could see trees and up ahead she could see the morning sky. She couldn't see her Papa or student though so Lucy turned the other way around. There we go, she saw the two of them now arguing it out. Lucy yawned as she blinked her eyes back closed.

"I DEMAND YOU FIGHT ME RIGHT NOW IGNEEL! FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!"

Lucy's eyes twitched.

"FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!"

She started grinding her teeth together.

"FIGH-!"

"SHUT UP!" Lucy yelled getting up.

Natsu and Igneel looked towards the little girl with widened eyes.

"I'M TRYING TO GO TO SLEEP HERE AND ALL I HEAR IS YOUR WHINING VOICE! JUST SHUT UP NATSU!" Lucy yelled at him before turning the other way around and lying back on the grass.

Natsu had never seen his teacher yell at him like that... ever. It was pretty scary, though he'd never admit it out loud.

"You want training Natsu, fine. Be silent for an hour and go focus on something, let's see if you can do that much." Igneel told him.

"WHA-" he paused short staring at Lucy's sleeping figure.

He growled out fire as he made his way into the forest.

"Fine, whatever, I don't need your help to train." Natsu mumbled as he left.

"Don't light any trees on fire!" Igneel called letting him go.

"I KNOW!" Natsu yelled then flinched.

He quickly started running deeper into the forest so his teacher wouldn't be able to yell at him again. The second time Lucy woke up, it was by her own accord. She felt better rested and leaned up to rub the sleepies from her eyes. When she looked around she spotted her Papa, but no Natsu.

"Morning daughter, here's breakfast." Igneel said.

Lucy looked over to him and noticed the stack of arranged fruits he had near him. She stood up, her legs feeling like jelly, and walked over to him to sit down near the fruit.

"Morning Papa, thank you for this meal." She yawned clapping her hands before reaching for a fruit.

She took a bite out of it and juice ran down her chin, which she wiped off of her.

"You slept for a long time child." Igneel noted stabbing a fruit with his talon and lifting it in his mouth.

"Yeah, I was really sleepy last night." Lucy said before taking another bite.
