Lucy hummed to herself as she watched the leaves fly around in the wind. She tapped her foot to the beat of her hum and shook her head side to side slowly. Igneel and Natsu enjoyed her voice with wide smiles and eyes closed as they listened. It was the same chorus over and over again, Lucy couldn't remember the rest of it, but none of them seemed to mind though. Lucy sang out a note at the end and sighed, fluttering her eyelashes. Things were getting a little boring at their home. Well maybe not getting, but at this moment things were boring. Everyone was acting so relaxed now and quiet. Months ago, when Lucy first met Natsu, she would have loved the silence. Now though that she was so used to living here with him... the silence was killing her.

Igneel opened his eyes and wiggled his snout, leaning up. The time had come. He had been thinking about it for a while now and as the months passed and passed Igneel thought it was time. It would have been time a month or so ago, Igneel just wanted to make extra sure nothing would happen though. He got up and smacked Natsu off of him, chuckling when he went flying into a tree.

"HEY!" Natsu yelled.

Igneel looked away pretending he didn't notice anything out of the ordinary and Natsu growled, running towards him. As the two of them fought Lucy smiled; now this was more like it.

"Okay son, alright. Come on." Igneel said eating him.

He walked over to Lucy and nudged her with his snout, trying to get her to stand up. Lucy giggled and got up, her eyebrows scrunched together though when she didn't see her student.

"Where's Natsu?"

Just when she said that, fire came from Igneel's nostrils. Lucy raised both her eyebrows and Igneel grinned, eating her up as well.

"AHHHHHHH!" Lucy screamed.

"Lucy?! Lucy! Calm down!" Natsu yelled.

Igneel started chuckling and spat his children out, tears coming to his eyes.

"THAT WASN'T NICE!" Lucy screamed at the top of her lungs.

"Yuck, I'm covered in dragon slobber." Natsu said wiping his face off with his shirt.

Igneel grinned, "come along you two."

"No way Papa unless I get to take a bath first!" Lucy squealed.

"Really? Alright then, I guess Natsu and I will go to the human village alone while you stay here and take a bath." Igneel said looking away.

Lucy's eyes widened, "YOU MEAN?!" She screamed so highly that everyone had a hard time knowing what she said.

"Yup, it's time Lucy. You can go to a human village with Natsu." Igneel said.

"WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR THEN!?" Lucy cheered struggling to climb on his back.

Igneel chuckled as he gave her a lift up, when Natsu tried to get on though he stopped him.

"Don't make me regret this, watch her." He whispered.

Natsu nodded his head, his eyes turning hard. Igneel smiled and nudged him, "I know you can do it."

"WHY AREN'T WE FLYING YET?! LET'S GO!" Lucy said jumping up and down.
