"I should have totally roasted that old fart, gypping me off for what?!" Lucy growled.

"IS MY SEX APPEAL ONLY WORTH 1000 JEWELS?!" She screamed kicking a sign.

She continued to growl and mumble for a few minutes longer before remembering her original mission at Hargeon Town. There had been word that Salamander was seen here, and though the quick trip to the magic shop wasn't a complete waste, Lucy needed to remember why she really came here.

Salamanders weren't dragons, they were close though; in the same category she believed. If ihe wasn't Papa, then he might know where Papa is and then... Lucy smiled as she looked up imagining the possibilities. Screams started echoing through the streets and Lucy tilted her head to the side.

"What's going on?" She asked herself.

"A FAMOUS MAGE IS IN TOWN!"

"IT'S SALAMANDER!"

"Salamander?!" Lucy gasped.

Hold on a second though, the ladies that just passed by screaming said mage. Papa wasn't a mage, he was a dragon. They must have been talking about the mage who could control the magic of fire that can't be bought in stores. What a huge waste! Traveling all this way out here to be let down.

Fire mages didn't interest Lucy, in fact they brought dark memories and always made her heart clench and tears come to her eyes. He was a fire mage, him and her Papa who was a fire dragon. With a low head, Lucy started dragging her feet back to the train station. Sadly though, it was passed the screaming girls crowded around the mage Salamander so she had to pass by them.

Something happened when she saw him though and her heart started beating really fast. Lucy didn't know what the meaning of this was and wondered what was happening to her! He looked at her and she stared into his eyes and suddenly, the beating stopped. His eyes... they weren't the right color. The charm magic failed on Lucy as her heart clenched.

Though she was never interested in fire mages, she always seemed to look at them to see if they looked familiar. This one looked like a complete stranger to her and Lucy turned her head away from him.

"IGNEEL!"

Lucy's heart stopped beating and her whole body went rigid. Slowly she turned her head around and saw a boy with bright salmon hair, a scarf that reminded her of dragon scales and a pitch black bracelet on his arm. Lucy subconsciously reached for the bracelet on her arm, the only reminder of them. These facts weren't enough though, she had to see his eyes.

The boy started walking away though, a blue cat following behind them. Salamander's fangirls started attacking him right after and finally when they tossed him aside, Lucy walked over and offered him a hand.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

He would have chewed her out if she would have asked him that when they were younger, this boy though just looked at her strangely and grabbed her hand.

"Yeah, thanks."

She pulled him up and stared into his eyes, those charcoal black eyes that look so much like their father's. It was him, it was really him. Lucy wanted to say so many things, wanted to do so many things, she had finally found one of them! The moment was ruined when Natsu's stomach started growling.
