Stranger Danger

.

Little Lucy had been separated from her student for 1 hour, 12 minutes and 30 seconds. It was when their separation turned to 1 hour and 13 minutes, 0 seconds, did she realized something very, very important that might change her life if nothing was done about it.

Little Lucy Dragneel realized she was lost.

She remembered exactly how it happened since it only happened around an hour ago. Natsu had gotten mad about her 'cheating' as he so called it and ran off to tattle on her to Igneel. Lucy tried her best to keep up with him, but that dragon slayer was too fast for his own good. Thinking back on it, Natsu must have been going easy on her when they first played tag because if he ran as fast as he did when he went to tattle, Little Lucy would have been caught in seconds.

Back to Lucy though, she walked through the forest searching left and right, to and fro for any signs of her student or Father. They had ran way off of Lucy's map and she couldn't see any of her markings on the trees at all. Everything looked the same, brown, green, gray, occasional blue and red from berry bushes or fruits in the trees, but everything look foresty.

At least Lucy didn't think of her forest as small and boring anymore, trying to look at the bright side. She discovered another lake, smaller this time with forest creatures all around it, and several grand oak trees with holes inside of them big enough to hide herself in. She kept this in mind next time she played hide-and-seek with Natsu. She also saw many forest creatures on her walk, from birds to fish to bunnies to the cutest little squirrels. Lucy had named every single one as she passed them, making up background stories and becoming friends with them all.

This childish thinking inside Lucy's mind delayed the fact that she was alone, she was weak, no one was here to save her and if she didn't find her family soon she risks getting attacked and killed in the forest. Thankfully Lucy kept up her little cute imagination as she watched a dragonfly zoom passed her, it was blue.

"Dratini! You have a big family with eight brothers and sisters each, you're the oldest though so you have to watch over everyone but you don't mind! You love your family now don't you Dratini?" Lucy asked the dragonfly.

It zoomed around her again before taking off into the forest leaving her all alone.

"Right! You have to go back to your family again, bye bye Dratini!" Lucy waved then continued her journey.

Right at that moment Lucy's stomach started growling, loudly she might think.

"Seems I'm hungry... hmmm." Lucy said stopping in her tracks.

She looked around where she was, there were less trees around her and more rocks. The path she started walking around was actually more rocky than dirty, she wondered when this was happening?

"Maybe this forest is close to a mountain?" Lucy asked looking around.

She didn't see any mountains though, well at least not any close to her. She saw some in the distance, but those looked far away. As Lucy continued to walk forward the trees disappeared more and more and a familiar sound hit her ears. It sounded like... rushing water. If Lucy scrunched her eyes together closely she could vaguely see it in the distance.
