Chapter 47

Five weeks had passed now since my argument with Reece and things hadn't improved in any sense of the word. Things had got worse, a lot worse.

The only time I had spoken to Reece was about four weeks ago when he asked me to move my stuff out of his room and tried to apologise for the last argument which resulted in another because I was having none of it.

Most of the boys thought that the way I reacted was out of order because I shouted a lot when Reece was apologising. The only person I'm on really good terms with at the minute is James and things are getting pretty awkward when we are all spending time with each other.

I've been spending the majority of the time in my little box bedroom at the end of the landing. There was hardly any room to move in there because it was so small, all my clothes were piled in a corner and I had random belongings scattered on the remaining floor space. It wasn't ideal at the minute but I didn't have anywhere else to go.

I'd gone back to college too. That was pretty much hell on earth. I was constantly trying to avoid anyone and everyone there if I could, not making eye contact or speaking to anyone.

There was one pretty big problem though. Mine and Reece's holiday to Portugal was in two days and we still hasn't spoke a word. I needed to sort things out, I couldn't stand if the holiday was as awkward as what the past five weeks have been.

I was sat in my room watching yet another episode of Shameless on Netflix when I decided I should talk to him. He was sat downstairs with the others and I could hear talking as I walked downstairs.

"Urm Reece could I have a word with you please?" I asked, poking my head around the living room door.

"We were just going to go out for a bit actually, except James. We're gonna get some things for Portugal, is it alright if we talk when we get back?" He replied. I nodded before Jake asked if I wanted to come. I'd had all my things ready for my holiday so I told him no before going back upstairs.

Five minutes later I heard a knock on my bedroom door. It crept open and James entered, flopping onto the mattress beside me.

"The lads have gone out, they won't be back for a while" he said. I nodded and turned back to Shameless. I felt James' hand snake around my back, squeezing my side.

"What do you want?" I asked sharply, pausing the episode for the second time.

"Come on Alice, an empty house for a while. I've been waiting for a chance like this" James said teasingly in my ear.

I knew what he meant, he'd hinted at it before. Over the past few weeks I'd spent a lot of time with James and in those times a few more kisses may have been shared. But nothing more, I never wanted anything more. Until now.

I bit my lip and lent on James' shoulder. Suddenly I was finding myself craving something more than the private kisses we shared in the middle of movie marathons or nights where I had gone to his room because I couldn't sleep. They had always been tantalising kisses, always leaving me wanting more. And I knew that he wanted something more. Most of the time I felt like I couldn't give him that, I still loved Reece even if we weren't on good terms. But suddenly I was finding myself clearing the things off my mattress, stealing quick kisses from James in between.

We sat together, lips locked and his arms around my waist when I felt a hand snake up my back, unclipping my bra strap under my top. He then reached for the hem of my top and pulled it over my head as I took my bra off, pulling apart for a second. He pulled off his top and threw it to the side before leaning in for another quick kiss.

I fumbled around before finding the button of my jeans, sliding them off and throwing them onto the growing pile of clothes. James did the same and soon enough we were both sat there in nothing but our underwear.

James pulled away for a second, both of us catching our breath, as his eyes scanned the top half of my body, a smirk creeping across his face. Then both of his hands were on my boobs and we were kissing again, lying down with him on top of me.

My fingers found the top of his boxers and I slowly began pulling them down, removing his underwear and then mine. His hands moved from my boobs to the back of my neck, cupping my face as we continued kissing.

I felt his lips form a smirk as I felt his load inside me. He began thrusting and I gripped the mattress, our lips still not breaking contact. I closed my eyes as the pleasure built up inside me. This all felt so wrong but it felt so good. I let out a moan, gripping James' hips as he continued to thrust.

"James I'm gonna-" I breathed soon after, our lips finally breaking contact. He nodded as we both reached our climax, letting out a deep breath.

James pulled out as we both caught our breath, rolling next to me.

"Fuck me" James exclaimed, a grin spreading across his face as he reached for his boxers and passed me my knickers and bra.

"I just did" I laughed, still breathing heavily and trying to catch my breath.

"That was just, oh my god, that felt so good" James said, flopping back down on the mattress.

"It was but I urm- I shouldn't have done it" I said, closing my eyes tight as I realised what had just happened.

"What do you mean you shouldn't have done it? You're not with Reece at the minute, you're free to do whatever you want" James replied, taking my hand that was by my side. I pulled my hand away from his grip and turned away from him, passing him the rest of his clothes.

"No I'm not but I still love him and I was going to sort things out with him when he gets back" I sighed, hearing a car door shut and the turn of the key in the front door.

So yeah I'm soooooo sorry that I haven't updated in what feels like years. I feel really bad and I've been meaning to update but I just haven't got round to it. I have my GCSE's at the minute so a lot of my time is taken up with that and I'm legit tired all of the time so I haven't stayed awake until like 2am updating like I usually do (except now obviously because it's like 1:45am). I'm trying to update as much as I can for you guys but I'm sorry if updates take a few weeks like this one. I'll try and update a bit more regularly but don't hold me to that okay.
