We had two days left in Accrington before going back so we went to visit some of Reece's friends. It was kind of awkward because they were all lads and kept making jokes about me and Reece. Mostly I just sat and watched them play Fifa all day and text my friends in the Stereo Kicks group chat that I'd had for a while now.
There were 5 of us in the chat, me, Emma, Leah, Toni and Tarlya and they were some of the funniest people ever. They had all met the boys on the tour and near Christmas time we were all going to London to meet up. The boys were coming too because they had something to do down there with Simon Cowell.
When it began to get dark me and Reece left to go and get a McDonald's. The next day we were spending time with Reece's family which I was looking forward to.
Nothing much happened in the next few days and it was good to see all of Reece's family. Jamie and Lynsey had invited me to stay for Christmas since all of the boys were going back home again and I had nowhere to go.
When we got back to Manchester station on the Tuesday all of the boys, except Chris, were waiting outside for us since ours was the last train to arrive. We were then going to pick Chris up from the airport and go home. For the rest of the holidays we just stayed in the house, watching movies and stuff.
And then it was time to go back to college. I'd really enjoyed this week off and having no work to do and now I'd have to go back to that hellhole. But in two weeks time it was Jake's birthday and we were having a little party at a club that let under 16's in so Charlie could go. I was really looking forward to it because I had a feeling me and Reece might end up getting up to things that night.
----- Jake's Party -----
I'd just finished getting ready when it was time to leave. I was wearing a short and flowery skater dress, which I adored, and some black heels. I had curled my hair into loose curls and clipped back my fringe with a flower clip. I was wearing more make up than usual but not too much, just concealer, foundation, powder, eyeliner and a bit of lip gloss. I don't like wearing mascara because I always end up rubbing my eyes and then getting it everywhere.
I walked down the stairs and all of the boys were in the living room, waiting for me to finish. I walked in to tell them I was done and they all turned to me.
"Wow you look beautiful" Reece said, standing up and taking my hand.
"Agreed" Casey shouted from behind him, making me blush and the rest of the boys laugh. "Come on, let's go, we're late enough as it is." We all walked to the car and drove to the club which was only a few minutes away but it was too cold to walk there.
When we walked into the club it was really busy. We went to the bar to order some drinks and I noticed 5 girls looking over in my direction. I recognised them but couldn't see who they were properly because of the lighting. Then they began to move closer and I realised they were my bullies. For gods sake, I just wanted one good night but that was apparently too much to ask for.
"Is it okay if we go over there for a bit?" I asked, pointing to an empty table. We started to walk over there and I kept my eye on the girls.
"Are you okay? You seem to be really nervous about something" Charlie asked me. I didn't want to be obviously nervous but I was worried that they would come over and try to start something.
"Yeah, it just them 5 girls that keep looking over here, it's Natalie and them lot" I replied. All of the boys knew about what went on in college but Charlie had seen it happen and I told him more about it than the others, except Reece.
"Don't worry about them, just have a good time" Charlie said to me, smiling. Most of the boys were slowly getting drunk and all dancing on the dance floor. Reece however was already extremely drunk and still going. I was quite worried about him to be honest, we hadn't been there long.
I was on my way to tell him to take it easier when I saw Rebecca, one of the girls, grinding on him. I felt a bit sick watching it. And Reece had a smile on his face. I know he was drunk and everything and I wouldn't normally mind but it was Rebecca for gods sake, the one person causing problems for me since the first day of high school. I stopped in my tracks as the song changed and I heard Reece say "I enjoyed that."
"So did I" Rebecca said, moving as close as she could to him. They were staring right into each other's eyes. Rebecca gave me a snide look and began to lean in to Reece. She planned this, the little shit. I could feel it in my stomach they were about to kiss. And they did. Right in front of me. Right in front of the boys. Right in front of everyone.
