We had to change trains at Manchester Piccadilly to go directly to London. When we got off at the station and got to the correct platform each of the boys gave me a hug, most of them picking me up. All of the boys except James went off, either to the toilet or to get some food, which left us both on the platform. We sat down on the bench and he put his arm around me, pulling me into a hug.
"You're okay, you know" he said. "I love you, we all love you and you'll be okay. I promise. We just need you to promise us that you won't scare us like that again, please." I looked at him and shook my head slightly.
"I'm sorry I can't promise that. You don't know what it's like. You don't know the kind of thoughts that go through my head constantly. It's like there's monsters living inside my head that can't get out and just take over what I'm thinking. When things like that happen or I have a particularly bad day it feels like I have no control over what I do. I'm a mess."
I could feel myself getting upset again and rested my head on James. He told me everything would be fine and kissed the top of my head. His lips lingered there a little longer than a normal friendly kiss but I didn't want to make things awkward by pulling out of the hug.
We sat there in silence for a few minutes until the boys returned and our train arrived. We had one of the carts to ourselves and, since it was a direct train, no one would be joining us. Reece passed me a sandwich that he bought from the shop, which I left on the table because I didn't feel like eating again. The boys decided to rehearse for their show tomorrow so I just sat and watched. Every now and again one of the boys would come over to check I was okay.
"Why haven't you eaten that sandwich?" Reece asked me as we neared London and they finished rehearsing.
"Not hungry" I replied quietly. I took out my phone and plugged my earphones in.
"Alice eat" Reece said before my music began playing. I shook my head and turned away. "You haven't eaten since breakfast. You did eat breakfast, didn't you?"
"Yes" I said shortly, as Last Hope by Paramore began playing. Reece walked over to me and pulled both earphones out.
"You're lying to me. Why are you lying to me?" He said sternly. I stuttered, not knowing what to say.
"Mate I told her to lie" Charlie piped up. "Do you want to tell him Alice or shall I?" He questioned, walking over to where I was sat so some of the other boys wouldn't hear.
"There's more to the story than you think Charlie" I said. There was no point hiding it, they would find out anyway. "I couldn't sleep last night and was feeling really bad. I went to the bathroom at about 3am to do something and fell asleep before I got the chance. Charlie woke me up by knocking on the door and I told him I just needed some time to myself" I explained, looking down at the floor.
"What did you go in there to do?" Both of them said, Reece taking my hand and squeezing it. I gulped and carried on staring at the floor.
"I um... I wanted to overdose" I muttered, not daring to look up. "I went in and I cut and was about to but I must have fallen asleep. I'm sorry." Reece wrapped his arms around me and I curled up into a ball on the seat.
"Why didn't you tell me? And why did Charlie tell you not to tell me?" He asked.
"I didn't want anyone to worry or stop me. And Charlie said it would hurt you even more if you'd seen that I'd cut so he gave me his jacket. I didn't want to make things any worse than they were" I said quietly. Reece gave Charlie a look as if to say to leave us alone for a minute and he got up and left, presumably telling the other boys what I had just said.
"Listen babe, I'm not going to tell you that everything is going to be okay because you've probably heard it too much today but I need you to tell me when you do stuff like that. Yes I worry about it but I love you so much that I would rather you not hide it from me. I want you to get better and the only way that's going to happen is if you talk to someone and you know you can talk to me." Reece said, pulling me onto his lap. I leant my head towards him and kissed him since I didn't really have anything to say.
We were interrupted by the train pulling to a stop in London where we needed to get off. We grabbed all our bags and suitcases and headed off to find our hotel, which was only a short walk away.
When we arrived at the hotel, Emma, Barclay's girlfriend, and Leah were waiting in the reception. Both Toni and Tarlya's trains would be arriving later. Barcs walked up to Emma, picking her up and kissing her. Although they had only been together a short time they were really close and really cute.
I ran up to Leah as soon as I saw her and hugged her. I had been friends with these 4 girls for so long over the Internet and it was amazing to finally meet them. Emma then ran over to me and hugged me as the rest of the boys said hi to Leah.
We checked in and then all went up to our rooms. We had booked 8 rooms, one for each of the boys. I was staying with Reece, Emma was with Barcs, Toni was with Jake and Tarlya was with Charlie which left Leah without a room.
"You can stay in my room if you want?" Casey offered. Leah nodded and we all went to our rooms to put our stuff away before going back to the reception to wait for Toni and Tarlya.
They arrived together about an hour later. Jake and Charlie both stood up as they came over but me, Leah and Emma beat them to it. We ran up to both girls and literally jumped on them with excitement. We all just stood there and hugged for ages. It's unbelievable how close you can get to people just through talking on Twitter. These girls mean the world to me and finally meeting them was one of the best feelings in the world.
"Can I please see my girlfriend now?" Jake laughed, walking towards Toni.
"No you can't" Tarlya joked, but then walked off to say hi to Charlie. He wrapped his arms around her and whispered something to her before kissing her. Jake walked over to Toni and he did the same.
"I love you so much babe" he said as they walked hand in hand back to where everyone was sat.
"I love you so much too" Toni replied, a smile creeping across her face. We sat back down and I curled up next to Reece, resting my head on his shoulder. Tarlya was sat on Charlie's knee and they were still kissing. Emma was sat on Barclay's knee and was talking to James, Chris and Tom. Toni and Jake were sat together, talking none stop to each other. Leah sat down next to Casey and moved close to him, they seemed to be getting on well.
"This seems to have cheered you up then" Reece said and I nodded.
"Why, what was up?" Leah asked. I just shrugged and told her I'd tell her later. "We're all going out tonight anyway so that's sure to put a smile on your face." She said. I smiled weakly, thinking back to the last time I went out with all of the boys for Jake's birthday and what a disaster that had been.
