Mitsi moved from room to room, examining each of them fully. The house wasn't as large as Azriel and Seren's, but it was still moderately sized and the rooms reflected that. No part of the house appeared cramped, not even the little reading nooks tucked into corners of two sitting rooms.

In addition to the sitting rooms, there was also a kitchen and two dining rooms, one formal and one informal, on the main floor of the house. There were a few bathrooms too, but Mitsi didn't bother investigating those.

In terms of decor, it was very obvious that a male lived in the house, although there were a few touches that led Mitsi to believe either Seren or Estelle, or perhaps both, had also had a hand in decorating. Every wall boasted a number of paintings which Mitsi guessed were Lysander's creations.

There were also dozens of weapons mounted upon the walls, along with mirrors, clocks, and shelves that held assorted trinkets. All of the furniture was simple and cozy while still retaining an air of elegance.

Mitsi grew more interested in the second floor of the house when she caught sight of Lysander's art studio. However, she decided to investigate that last. A small library was beside the studio, and the rest of the floor was made up of bedrooms.

Mitsi peered into each guest room, looking them over swiftly. They all looked the same, the only differences being the bedding. She reached the end of the hall and paused beside a closed door. Mitsi glanced back at Lysander.

"Is this your room?" She asked. He nodded. "May I?"

Lysander nodded once more and opened the door for her. Mitsi entered and was instantly greeted by a familiar scent, the same one that still lingered in her own room. Juniper, clay, and seafoam. Mitsi drew a deep breath and went further into the room

In terms of furniture, there wasn't much to see. A large bed rested against one wall, with trunks serving as nightstands on either side of it. The fireplace was built into the opposite wall and two chairs faced it. There was also a desk and a wardrobe, which stood beside another door.

Mitsi opened that door and entered the bathroom. She cocked her head, studying the contraption that stood across from her. It was a bathtub and shower combined! She almost found herself wishing that her own bathroom had such a creation.

Mitsi turned and opened a set of sliding doors, revealing a short walk-in closet. "Why do you have a wardrobe if you also have a closet?" She asked, looking back at Lysander.

"I keep my leathers in the wardrobe and my regular clothes in the closet," he explained. "I like to keep them separate so my clothes don't smell like my leathers. They tend to smell a bit strong after I clean, condition, or oil them."

"I see." Mitsi stepped inside the closet, running her hand down the side of a hunter green shirt. She could already picture the color on Lysander. It would perfectly compliment his hair and skin tone. "You rarely wear clothes like these. You're always wearing your leathers in Windhaven and when we train."

"I only wear my regular clothes when I don't have anywhere to go or something important to do."

"So, now?" Mitsi flashed him a grin. Lysander chuckled as she brushed by him. "I'm going to look in the art studio."

"I'll join you in a minute."

Mitsi hurried out of the room before he could see her blush. Was he actually going to oblige her and change into something else? She skipped down the hall until she reached the art studio. It very closely resembled Seren's and Mitsi couldn't help but wonder if the female had helped her son arrange it.
