"At least I have the rest of the day to relax." Shelby sighed.

"But there goes our paycheck." Riley said.

"Don't remind me." Shelby frowned. "If only Chase could pay attention more to his work instead of flirting with girls."

"Hey, maybe he'll learn something from this."Tyler said.

"No." Koda shook his head.

Tyler turned to him confused. "What do you mean?" Tyler questioned.

"Well..." He stopped mid sentence when he saw a familiar face enter the cafe. A wide smile grew on his face as he ran over to Jodi to give her a hug.

"Hi, Koda." She said happily.

"Jodi, what are you doing here?" Tyler asked with a smile.

"Chase told me to stop by to bring him some food. Where is he?" She asked.

"He's out helping out a friend. But I guess he forgot to tell you where he was." Riley said.

"Typical." Shelby scoffed.

Jodi let out a slight laugh. She looked around and noticed all the chairs were put up. "You guys closed early?"

"Yeah, Chase accidentally almost burnt the place down." Riley said.

"Not the first time it happened." Jodi sighed.

"It's happened before?" Shelby questioned.

Jodi nodded her head. "Happened with me." She said. Koda nodded his head.

"Now we gotta watch out incase this happens again. He get's distracted so easily."

"That's Chase for you." Jodi said. "I'm gonna get going. His food is going to get cold. I'll see you guys around."

"Let me walk you out." Tyler said.

"Sure."

They both turned around and started walking back towards the exit. "Sorry you had to come all the way over here for nothing." Tyler apologized.

"It's alright. It's always like this with Chase. Plus, it was a good excuse to see you guys." She smiled.

He could see her rubbing the center of her palm again. He knew she was nervous. he didn't want to make her more nervous than she already was. "I see you brought your camera again."

"Yeah, I've been feeling a bit down the past couple of days. I've been trying to keep myself happy, but it doesn't seem to be working that well. But I'm sure Chase could help me with that. Plus, being around you guys always makes me smile."

"I see." He smiled. "How long have you been into photography?"

"Since I was a kid. My brother had a camera and he would let me use it sometimes to distract me. It made me love photography. And then I decided to move here."

"You're not from around here?" Tyler asked.

Jodi shook her head. "I guess Chase never mentioned it. I'm from New York."

"That's pretty cool. And considering how far it is, you must miss it over there."

Jodi let out a sigh. "Not really. I didn't have the best time over there. Not the best memories. I don't like to talk about it much. When I first got here, I was having the hardest time adapting and trusting others. But Chase and Koda really helped me out."

Tyler could see a smile grow on her face. "You must really trust them a lot. They're good people."

"Yeah. But sometimes I question if they really are people. Specifically Chase." She joked. Tyler laughed at her words.

"You're right about that. He's special in his own way."

He looked down at her and noticed how pink her cheeks were. It was adorable.

They reached the entrance of the museum and walked out together. "Maybe you can come by again tomorrow. You know, when the grill is back working again." Tyler said.

"I'm sure I will. I should get going now. I have to ask Chase where he is. I'm not even surprised he forgot to tell me."

"Then I'll see you later."

The two waved goodbye to each other as Jodi started to walk off. Tyler watched until she was out of sight. I smile grew on his face when He remembered her pink cheeks. He couldn't get it out of his head.

Jodi noticed how much of a mess the shop was in the outside. Despite that, she took the opportunity to take a few pictures before heading inside.

Inside was even more of a mess. "Chase?" She called out. She got no answer. She walked in slowly, taking pictures of everything she saw.

"How unique." She mumbled.

"Gotcha!"

Jodi tumbled back, hitting a mannequin and falling to the floor. "Chase." Jodi scolded.

"Whoops." Chaser said, when he recognized Jodi's voice. He walked over and helped take everything off.

"Nice joke." She grumbled.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to. I thought you were an intruder." He said.

"Why would someone try to steal from a place like this?" She questioned.

"I don't know. I was just asked to. What are you doing here anyways?" Chase asked.

Jodi reached into her bag and pulled out a sandwich. "You asked me to bring you this. Remember?"

"Oh, right. Thanks." He grabbed the sandwich and immediately took a bite. "Sorry that I forgot to tell you where I was."

"It's alright. Not like it's the first time anyways."

Jodi began walking around the place looking at everything. It was all filled with weird junk, none of which made sense. "What is all this?" She asked. As she began taking pictures again.

"Not sure. I hadn't been able to look at everything. There's too much to look at. Plus, I don't want ti touch anything that seems important."

"I see." Jodi mumbled as she took more pictures. "I heard what happened at the cafe. You can never seem to focus, can you?"

"Look, it was a one time thing."

"You did it with me." Jodi said while raising an eyebrow.

"Oh right, I forgot." Chase laughed awkwardly.

Jodi rolled her eyes at him. "I like your friend, Tyler. He's really nice."

"Did you talk with him."

"Yeah. He makes me feel comfortable." Jodi smiled.

A slight smirk grew on Chase's lips. "Do you like him?"

"What?" Jodi questioned.

"Do you like him? Do you have a crush on him?" He asked again.

"N-no." She stuttered.

Chase's smile only grew more. "You do. Your cheeks are turning red."

"I don't like Tyler." She denied.

"Look, maybe you don't realize it now, but when you do, you can always come to me if you ever want me to set you up with him." He smirked.

"Shut up." Jodi growled. "I'm leaving."

"Stay safe. Text me if you ever need anything."

"Will do."

Jodi stepped outside the shop and turned back around to take a look. Through the window, she could see Chase put on his headphones and go back to watching his video. She let out a slight scoff. In the year she had known him, nothing about him had changed.
