Jodi couldn't help but to cry. Everywhere she looked, she couldn't find her brother. Everyone that walked past her was too tall, it frightened her. She honestly just wished for someone to pick her up and comfort her. But she mainly just wanted her brother.

"There you are."

She heard Andrews voice, but she couldn't stop sobbing. When she finally saw him, she cried even more.

"I'm right here. Why are you still crying?" He asked.

"Because I couldn't find you." Jodi cried even more.

"How about we go get some ice cream before we head back home. How does that sound?" He suggested.

"Okay." Jodi sobbed. She grabbed his hand and the two started walking towards the nearest ice cream shop.

It was a bit of a line. But they didn't mind waiting. "Why'd you run off?"  Andrew asked.

"I saw a squirrel." She answered.

"You ran from me because you saw a squirrel?" He questioned. Jodi nodded her head. Andrew let out a slight scoff. "Next time you want to see something, let me know first. You had me worried."

"Sorry." Jodi pouted.

Andrew let out an exhale. "It's alright." He said.

They finally made it to the front of the line. He lifted her up so that she could see the different flavors. "Which one do you want?" He asked.

"The pink one." Jodi pointed.

"Can we get the strawberry flavor?" Andrew asked.

"Sure thing."

Andrew paid for the ice cream and the two sat outside to eat. "How is it?"

She couldn't keep her eyes off the pink dessert that was in her hands. She took a small lick and instantly fell in love. "I like it."

There was nothing wrong with being alone. Jodi knew of that. And she liked being alone at times. But there were still things about it that she hated. Which was mainly just the boredom. She grew tired of watching people. Grew tired of seeing the same old thing everyday.

But she still preferred this over meeting new people. She hated interacting with others. Heck, she hated when people would try to make conversation over the smallest things. And it wasn't even because she was shy.

She sat at a table in the corner eating her pastry. If there was one thing she liked about moving here, it was definitely the food. Especially all the strawberries.

She looked around the shop, letting out an annoyed sigh when seeing all the people. She grabbed her headphones and a book, using those to block everyone.

About fifteen minutes had gone by, and someone had placed a drink at her table. She looked up confused, but she was met by Tyler standing over her with the biggest grin on his face. Jodi took off her headphones and smiled back at him. "Hi." She greeted. "What are you doing here?"

"I was really craving something sweet. So I decided to stop by and try something new. And we've been really busy all day. it's good to take a break."

"I can tell you've been working a lot. You have some dirt on your cheek."

"I do?" Tyler questioned. He lifted his hand up and brushed the dirt off his face. Jodi let out a slight laugh. "Thanks for telling me."

"No, problem."
