"So how's New Zealand?" Jodi asked

"It's great. You would love it here. I should bring you here next time. Then you could see Chloe again. She's been asking about you." Chase said.

"Tell her I miss her too. She's really sweet." Jodi smiled. "How long till you guys come back."

"Uh, hard to say. Not long hopefully. Missing me already." He teased.

"Yeah right." Jodi rolled her eyes. This kid was too annoying for her. "How's Tyler?" She asked.

"Why are you asking? Do you care for him that much?"

"No." She denied. For once she could relax by herself. Meaning she didn't need to force herself to blush when she was away. "I was just wondering."

"Well, he's having fun. I'm sure he's missing you." Chase teased. "But what about you? Are you doing alright by yourself?"

"Yeah, I'm fine." She said. "I should get going soon. I have to get to work. But I'll talk to you later."

"See you soon."

Jodi tucked her hair into her cap as she made her way over to the table. She grabbed a random shovel, and at the same time, stuck one of Wrench's small microphones under the table as she walked past it. No one seemed to notice as they were either busy digging or taking pictures. She walked further away until she reached one of the empty tents.

"I can't believe he's putting me to work. I don't want to be here." Jodi whined.

"Just hope you guys get those over with quick." Spite said.

"As if that's going to happen."

It had been a while since the Ranger's found the purple energem. And neither the Ranger's nor Sledge have yet to find the Plesio Zord. Not wanting to fall behind the Ranger's, Sledge sent Jodi undercover to follow them while Fury and Meteor went around looking for the Zord.

Jodi took a seat at an empty chair and dropped the shovel onto the floor. "At least we were here before them."

"How are you so sure the Ranger's will be here?" Spite asked.

Jodi turned around to look at the Dr. Runga. "He's one of the biggest paleontologist in the world. And with Shelby's knowledge of dinosaurs, I'm sure she'll lead the others here. So they'll do all the work while we just take what's there's."

Spite laughed at herself. "I bet you're glad you don't have to be wearing those turtlenecks. right now."

"Yeah, but now I'm stuck in this stupid getup. And it's hot out here." Jodi took off her hat to fan herself. She looked around and found the Ranger's standing outside their car. "Finally."

Jodi tucked her hair back into the hat as she put it back on. "Don't make a sound."

"Jodi fixed up her watch until she was able to hear what was going on.

"This is a restricted area."

"Hi, Dr. Runga. I'm Shelby Watkins. I called you earlier."

It was hard to hear anything. Jodi turned back to the group to see what was going on. She put the watch closer to her ear.

"From the Amber Beach Dinosaur Museum. In the United States."

"Ah, yes. You're my competition."

"Competition? No, we're huge fans. I've read all your books. Twice."

"What a fangirl." Jodi rolled her eyes.

"You and three million other people. Now please, I'm a really busy man. What is it that you want?"

"Well, to be blunt, if plesiosaurus' were still alive, where would they live?" Riley asked.

"Let me understand. You're looking for a living Dinosaur?" Dr Runga questioned. "wait, I know what this is. Youre hunting for Taniwha, aren't you?"

"What's a taniwha?" Tyler asked.

"Taniwha is a New Zealand myth. Like the loch ness monster. It's an ancient creature that lurked in oceans and rivers..."

"Experts, like myself, suspect that If taniwha actually existed, they were really plesiosaurus."

Dr. Runga lifted his sleeve to show iff the tattoo. But from the angel that Jodi was watching from, she could only see his back.

"It does rather resemble a plesiosaurus." Ivan said.

"So, plesiosaurus would have lived where, did you say?" Shelby asked.

"Coast lines, islands, sea caves. Good luck." Dr. rung scoffed as he walked back into the the dig.

"I got what I need." Jodi said as she stood up. "One more thing." She grabbed the camera from around her neck and took a picture of Dr. Runga and the Ranger's.

Just then, another worker walked into the tent. "What are you doing in here. Shouldn't you be helping dig up more bones." He picked up the shovel and held it up to Jodi. "Hurry up."

Jodi starred at the shovel, then back to the worker, and scoffed. "Are you deaf or what?"

Jodi stepped forward, pushing the shovel out of the way and placing a finger to his lips. "Shh, sleep." The worker stared at her in confusion. That was until the tattoo on her neck suddenly started to glow, and he quickly fell to the floor.

"Is he alright?" Spite asked. But her questioned was quickly answered when they heard him snoring. "Nevermind."

"How sad for him." Jodi laughed.

"Now what?" Spite asked.

"We head back to the ship. We leave the rest of the work to Fury and Meteor."

~

"You better have brought back something useful for me." Sledge growled.

"Coast lines, islands, and sea caves. Those are areas where we should be looking. Those are the scientist words, not mine. And you should probably hurry. The Ranger's are looking for the zord as we speak."

"Fury, you heard her."

"On it, Master." Fury said as he walked out the room.

"What would we do without you?" Poisandra said as she hugged Jodi. "I told you it would be useful to bring a human on the ship with us. And you wanted to kill her."

"Honestly, I would have been fine with either option." Jodi shrugged.

"As much as I hate to admit it, you were right. But she still has a mouth." Sledge glared.

"So what do you plan to do with the zord?" Jodi asked.

"Destroy it obviously. I won't let those ranger's have a chance of getting it back. I want that thing gone."

"That's too bad. I would have loved to ride that thing."

"Not happening."
