fun fact: I see Barty and Pandora as Ravenclaws, but made them Slytherin for this story.

It was silent as Diana walked trough the hall, Remus, Peter and James at her side. It was only then that she realized that Sirius was normally the one talking when they traveled in between classes, James just keeping up and matching his energy every time.

Funny how she never really realized that, but now, for their third day not really talking with Sirius, it became rather obvious. Normally, when Sirius wasn't around, James always managed to find something to blab on about, but even he was quiet this time.

"So," Peter decided it was enough silence for today. "Excited for the upcoming Quiditch match?" He asked, addressing the two sibling who both perked up at the mention of the sport that they both loved so much.

"Obviously!" James called out with excitement. "We're up against Hufflepuff so obviously we'll be fine, plus, we've been training non-stop for the past weeks," he explained to Peter, overconfident as always.

"I wouldn't say it's going to be easy, Jamie," Diana disagreed, shaking her head. James smile fell and he frowned, obviously not agreeing, but she spoke again before he could interrupt. "Hufflepuff's got a new team this year, did you see them against the Ravenclaws?" Diana asked him and he seemed to contemplate and then shrug.

"Yeah, but they lost," he insisted, although seeming a bit hesitant.

"They lost, but they were good," Remus countered. "And now that they've lost, they will only have more fuel to win," he explained and James sighed, not as confident as he had been a minute ago.

"But we lost too, so we've got some fuel in here," Diana grinned at him. "Besides, our team is really good, we lost last time because of Slytherins seeker, if Smith just manages to get the snitch before they do, we can win," James confidence soared back after hearing his sisters words.

"Yeah! And otherwise, we chasers just score so many points that even if they manage to catch the snitch, we still win," he decided and Diana laughed and cheered along with Peter.

"Yes!" She jumped to hit James' high five and he beamed at her.

"You three are all morons," Remus shook his head and James dramatically gasped.

"How dare you," he cried out. "We are just positive, try getting in the vibe, Moony," James rolled his eyes. He didn't catch how Remus seemed to pause at his nickname and swallow thickly.

Peter and Diana did, both of them exchanging looks, but saying nothing about it.

"Oh shove off, Remus," Peter joined James. "We can always hope, besides, we kind of have to win this one, seeing we already lost the last one," he explained and Diana's shoulders slumped.

"Ugh Pete!" She exclaimed. "Way to add the pressure," she whined and he laughed at her along with Remus who also chuckled.

Though a bit annoyed at Peter, Diana was happy to see Remus laughing, seeing as he hadn't even let out a few chuckles for the past days, not since the accident.

She wondered what Sirius was up to. They hadn't really been talking to him, according to her brother, he wasn't to be found in lessons and barely in the dorms, so where he was, was really beyond her.

At arrival of her classroom, she bid the boys goodbye and entered her history of magic lesson, letting herself dramatically drop onto her chair next to Barty.

"Yeah?" He asked her amused and she nodded, only causing him to laugh at her.

"What's got you so tired recently?" Evan asked from behind her, leaning over his table to be closer.
