Turning away from your front door, you let out a loose sigh as the grip on the door knob fell limp. You trusted your mentor, you really really did, it's just the thought of the unknown happening scares you. He's a strong man, you suppose, but your pets have never met the guy, who knows how they will take to the new change. Letting a huff of air puff out of your nose, you walked down your porches steps and into the driveway, if anything went wrong he always had your number.

Double checking your trunk was locked shut, you climbed into the drivers seat and buckled yourself up. After quickly adjusting your mirrors and seat, you put the car in reverse and slowly pulled out of the driveway. You gave one last look at your house, spotting your mentor in the window. Giving him a wave he returned, you slowly turned back around and took off to the main city.

Once you were out of your neighborhood, nothing but the shady streets of the town you lived in greeted you. Your grip on the steering wheel tightened as you glared at passerby on the sidewalks, you never liked going through town and always opted to go to local markets so you wouldn't have to be down here. You didn't live in a terribly bad part of Megapolis, just an area that was cheaper for home rent.

You make a good sum of money, but you like to think of yourself as a money hoard, not wanting to spend it all in one good sum just in case something bad happened and you need financial aid. In fact, most of the money you made went into paying for your dojo lessons, that shit was not cheap in any sense. Rolling your eyes, you came to realize that you were practically the only student your mentor even had, so you were paying his whole life away with your lessons. Guy must be hella rich now after charging you 1381 yuan for a whole week of training that lasted for 2 hours a day.

After double checking the sides of your car and making sure that the streets you had rolled into weren't the bad ones you were used to, you let out a breath of relief and decided to finally turn on the radio. Nothing super interesting was on right now, it was midday and most people where at work, not driving halfway across Megapolis to go visit family in need. You let yourself lean further into your drivers seat when the city slowly faded into windy farming fields, the ocean just barely visibly.

Impatiently tapping your steering wheel to the beat of the current song you were on, you slowly started to see the main city grow into view, traffic slowly starting to pick up. You growled to yourself a little as you slowly but surely got stuck in traffic, cause that's the next thing you need in your day. Traffic coming into the city always sucked, because no one wanted to live or visit outside of the main city. They always wanted to live in the comfort of big and better, didn't they.

After an agonizingly painful slow traffic jam, you managed to get back onto the main streets, now taking out your GPS to help find the noodle shop. Your angered face slowly started to loosen up as the nostalgic streets suddenly started to emerge in front of you. You soon found a rather small smile upon your lips, a sudden calmness found within your soul as you turned right onto the main street.

After finding a parking spot on the side of the road, you took your keys out and turned your car off, resting in the drivers seat for a moment. Once you hyped yourself up enough, you opened your car door and slowly stepped out. Slamming the door shut, you looked up and down the road before spotting a vibrant pink sign, reading 'Pigsy's Noodles'. Sighing with a bright grin on your face, you looked both ways before crossing the street with ease.
