You woke up with a jolt, your head colliding with Mk's jaw roughly as he groaned at your rude awakening. You rubbed the top of your head and rolled out of Mk's arms, allowing him to roll over onto his side and hold his chin. You sighed and sat up, reaching over and turning the alarm clock off, surprised that both you and Mk managed to sleep through it.

Reaching up to touch your head again, you paused when your hand collided with something wet, bringing it down to see your hand slightly damp. "Mk," You said lowly, the boy groaning in response to his name being called. "Did you drool on me last night..?" The room went silent before Mk sprung up in the bed, grabbing your shoulders and giving you a hug from behind, apologizing profusely. With a sigh, you just grabbed his arms and gave them a firm patting, deciding to accept his apology this morning.

After getting ready like normal, other than having to brush through that damp spot in your head, you and Mk walked down the stairs, him almost tripping on the last step. Pushing the curtain back, you waved at Tang who was busy wiping down the tables, a smile resting on his face at your acknowledgment. You and Mk walked behind the counter and grabbed your things, Mk grabbing a bucket and mop and you grabbing a few washcloths.

Turning the sink on for Mk to fill his bucket up, you dampened your washcloths and then proceeded to walk over to the stove, starting to clean it while you waited for your dad. You had to scrub in a few rough spots, as the grime there was stuck, but eventually the stove started to look somewhat decent. When there was a familiar grunt from the front door, everyone turned around and waved at Pigsy, smiles on your guys faces as you greeted him.

Pigsy smiled back and walked back behind the counter, his grin widening when he saw you already hard at work. "Nǚ'ér, is it alright if I asked for you to do most of the cooking today? I have to do some paper work." Your father asked of you, you just nodding your head and humming, gesturing to him to get to work. "Although I'm in the back, I expect you to not give Mk any breaks. Got it?" Pigsy said sternly, you just rolled your eyes and bumped him with your foot, him huffing as he sauntered to the back, leaving you all to your own devices.

Turning around, you threw the washcloths back into their respective places and then got to work on heating the broth back up. Turning the stove on, you poured the broth into their pots and waved a hand in front of your face from the steam that came up from them. After giving the broths a few stirs, you got to work on making some noodles, calling Mk to the back to help you out, Tang now sitting on one of the stools, trying to bribe you for some free noodles.

Mk was rather rusty on making noodles, the dough often got stuck to his hands and he got confused a lot, but he eventually got the hang of it. "No, fold it like this." You instructed him, watching as he did the exact opposite of what you were trying to do. With a sigh you shook your head and turned over to the bowl with boiling water, tossing your noodles in there before turning around to help Mk out. "Here, like this." You stood right next to Mk and grabbed one of his hands, showing him the right way to fold the noodles, he only held his breath while you did so.

After Mk was done with his noodles and they were in the pot of water, you shooed him out of the kitchen while he complained. "Why does cooking noodles have to be so hard? You and Pigsy make it look so easy!" He almost shouted, now going back to mopping down the floors. You hummed and thought about it for a while, deciding to clean the counter Tang was seated at.
