The sound of the waves crashing against the ships side really sent you for a loop as you stood next to Wukong, eyes darting around while you breathed heavily. The sage tried to calm you down a great many times, but he found that nothing was easing your fears. So, he opted to just hold you hand and stand there awkwardly as water started to flood the area.

After a while, he sat down on a chair, pouting a little while the others sat around looking at the water that was high rising. "We're alive... We're alive!" Tang shouted as he raised himself from the water, a hopeful gleam in his eyes as he did so. Your eyes widen and you stumbled a little when the ship creaked with water pressure, Wukong moving his hold to your waist to help you stand up.

You and Wukong watched as Mk was tossed into the air before face planting into the water, staying under for a second before popping his head back up to look at you both. "Maybe hold that thought?" Mei muttered as she tried to walk around through the water that was now waist length, streams of water coming out through the cracked windows. You flinched when a fish smacked her in the face, sending her down into the water just as Mk had been.

Your father laughed as he stood up on a chair, trying to get farther away from the water, looking down at it wearily while also sparing you a few glances. "Here we finally get away from Macaque and now we all get to drown!" He shouted in anger, screaming up to the ceiling as if it would help. Your eye twitched a little as you looked back down to the water, it was cold and you could feel yourself slowly start to shiver.

Mk stood up taller than when he was in the water and shook his head to rid of the water, splashing you and Wukong as he turned around to address said sage. "Monkey King, you gatta do something!" He shouted towards his mentor, not missing how he had an arm loosely wrapped around your waist.

The arm was soon replaced by his tail however, as Wukong got into a lounging position on the chairs and started to cup the flowing water with his palm.  "Huh, why? Little water never hurt no-!" He patted his chest for a moment before letting out a laugh of realization. "Oh, right! Mortality..." He spared you an awkward glance and you just gave him one of fear, immortal or not you still didn't know how to swim. Wukong just shrugged and got back to splashing around in the water, if you both ended up being the only ones alive, you'd both be stuck at the bottom of the ocean. You knew damn well Wukong couldn't swim either.

Everyone was alerted when the ship started to blare red, a loud noise coming from the speakers that had you covering your ears with your cold hands. The ship started to shake as something swam past it, it was obviously big if it could shake the hulk you were in. "Everyone relax!" Wukong spoke out, now sitting cross legged as he looked at the glass window. "Pretty sure this is just an old friend of mine coming to help out!" He spoke, trying to ease your guys worries as he smiled at the glass.

Your mind blanked when you saw a dragon shaped animal stare at everyone in the ship before opening its mouth and capturing the ship within it. "Hm, actually, friend might be stretching it." You let out a loose laugh as you gave the monkey a glare, Wukong only looked away with a roll of his shoulders. You and the others let out a yelp when the ship started to creak and move withing the dragons mouth, Mei holding onto you tightly and shoving Wukong off you.
