You didn't get a wink of sleep that night. All you could do was lay there with the burning image of Wukong glued to your eyelids. Mk tried to comfort you throughout the night by hugging you to sleep and filling you with warmth, but it didn't help you and your fears. You weren't scared of the sage, no, he was the nicest person ever to you. It was just the words he used to you when he explained your situation.

Turning away from the alarm clock that read 3 in the morning, you shifted your self lower so you wouldn't head bump Mk while he was sleeping. You laid there for a minute before sighing and thumping your head onto his chest, listening to his heart beat slowly pick up as he woke up, murmuring some random words as he slowly adjusted himself. His arms felt nice around you and you felt safe and comforted, and you really do appreciate his efforts, but there was no shaking your fears.

"Yes..." Your voice was hushed, an underlying fear hidden under it as you looked up at Wukong, an uncertain look on his face. "I have been training with him for a long time now, we've..." You let your eyes drop to the floor. You couldn't bear to tell Wukong that you had sworn loyalty to him, you knew he would feel awkward around you, and you didn't want that. You liked Wukong, you really did, and you didn't want this to be a barrier in your guys relationship.

Wukong rested there for a minute before a smile beamed on his face, now crossing his arms as he lounged a little in his standing position. "Really? That's great! Never thought that bozo would find someone to train. Now tell me, what powers have you learned? Oh, have you even learned any? Macaque can be stingy when he comes to training!" You blinked and looked up at Wukong with a shocked expression, watching as he turned around and started to dig through Mk's pantry, throwing things to the side as he tried to find what he wanted to snack on.

You turned over and looked at Mk, who quickly turned over to you once he felt you staring, a confused look also on his face. "Um," You turned over and nearly jumped when you saw the monkey sitting on his cloud, lounging and eating through a bag of chips you didn't even know you guys had. "He has taught me some things, but he mostly just briefly explains his powers and leaves me to figure it out on my own." You fumbled with your hands as Wukong hummed an nodded, eating more chips messily. "That's how I ended up on Flower Fruit Mountain last night. I was practicing making my own shadows and teleporting long distances." Wukong swallowed his lump of food and quietly burped to himself, clearing his throat after words.

With the chip bag still in hand, he pointed towards you with a rather bored expression. "He's right, when it comes to shadow manipulation you need to learn a lot of things by yourself." He nodded his head, as if agreeing with himself, and shifted on his cloud once more, laying on his stomach and facing you. "Do tell me more. Ooh, have you learned cloning!? Awe man, got to be one of the better powers!" He laughed to himself as he dug through the bag of chips and ate a few more.

You let out a nervous laugh and nodded your head, scooting a little closer to Mk for comfort. "Uh, yeah! I can clone a few shadows, not as many as you or Mk can though. The most I've done is around fifteen, and that was to help Mk defeat DBK." You explained, Wukong oohing at your explanation, kicking his feet as he listened to your stories. "Other than that, that's pretty much all he's taught me. I can't make my own weapon, and I think I'm pretty sucky at a weapon period. You were there when Mk tried to train me to use a staff." You laughed a little at the memory, it was a nice time you had to admit. It's just the things that happened after it that you hated. "I could try to do shadow hiding but being in the shadow realm for too long makes me queasy. Still can't shape shift either." You finished, giving Wukong a small smile as he looked at you for a little longer.
