You let out a huff as you raised your head upwards, wiping the back of your hand against your forehead, swiping away sweat that had accumulated over time. Shaking your head, you readjusted your hair so that it was out of the way before getting back to work, Redson taking a curious glance over towards you as you did so. He had invited you to come down to his house when you had free time so that he could teach you more about mechanics, as he had heard you mutter about how you wanted to learn more about them. Upon listening to you yap for a little while longer, he found the reason to be because you wanted to help Sandy out more, a small smile crossing his face when he heard that.

He had taught you a few basics, but you were a quick learning so you both slowly advanced into more complex things, currently working on one of his cars. He made sure to hover over you every now and then, not out of fear of what you were doing to his car, but more so for you. You had slipped your finger a few times and had a few small cuts on your arms when a nail scratched you, but nothing that was too major. However, Redson was acting like you were going to bleed out right then and there, scolding you as he desperately searched for a bandaid to cover your wound. It was admirable.

Tossing the wrench you had to the side, you gave your friend a brief nod that he returned before slamming the hood of his car down. It took him a few seconds to located the keys to his vehicle, but once he had, he jumped in the car before turning it out. With the small purr of the vehicle, you both smiled at each other, you more enthusiastic, then him, but it was a small gesture you both took to heart. Redson slipped out of the vehicle after turning it off and walked over towards you, crossing his arms and opening his mouth, about to mutter a few words to you.

His voice was stopped, though, when your phone let out a loud ring, you turning over and swiping it from the small bench that was tucked into the garage. "Awe, are you kidding me?" You grumbled as you wiped a smear of oil off your cheek, a frustrated look crossing your face the longer you stared at your phone. "Apparently those demons, Yin and whatever, are attacking the city. Mk needs help." You sighed out as you quickly pocketed your phone before grabbing your belongings, too preoccupied to see Redsons small pout on his face.

Once you had everything situated, you turned around and gave Redson a small wave goodbye, the boy stopping you by muttering out your name. "Be careful, and more importantly tell me when you're next available. You don't become a mechanical genius over night." The man huffed out as he sheepishly looked over to the side, already knowing that you were flashing him that cheeky grin that he adored so much. With a small chuckle and affirmation, you stepped into a shadow portal, grabbing your sword on the way in.

Emerging on a rooftop, you took notice on how Mei was currently in the air flying on a jet, loads of things being flung her way. You furrowed your brows as you jumped off the high building, whipping your sword forward and slicing away the objects. You heard the girl call your name as you landed on the head of her jet, shooting her a small smile while she giggled and complemented your entrance.

While you and Mei were occupied with each other, you failed to notice the onslaught of random things headed your way, only noticing when Mei gasped out. You whipped your head around and let out a grunt when something hit you on the head, causing you to slip off Mei's jet. Mei let out a scream as her jet was exploded you centering yourself as you fell to the ground, focusing on a shadow that was underneath you.
