Tw: Death.

-------

You never realized how cramped the ship you were in was until you heard Mk's labored breathing upon your neck. You craned your head back to look at him and gave him a questioning look, he only smiled and laughed nervously. You ignored the red tint on his face and faced back forward, Mk holding your shoulders tightly as Nezha kept on explaining his plan.

Once you arrived at the scene, you all hopped out of Nezha's ship and left it in the dust, rushing forward and stopping at the foot of a cliff. There were flashes of blue and gold flickering high above in the sky, and your eye sight was too poor to catch onto anything. In the midst of your looking, your eyes landed on a bird soaring in the sky, it's feather print one you seemed to recognize.

You tore your eyes away from Macaque and looked back towards the mech, where lights were flashing on and off. "So this is the power of The Lady Bone Demon." Nezha spoke, floating down and residing right next to you, Mk in your blind spot. "I've heard tales but never experienced it first hand. Even from here, I can feel her retched aura." Mk just looked down and nodded, Nezha dismissing his rings and stepping down on the ground. "I fear Monkey King was right, The Samadhi  Fire is the best chance we have at stopping her. The fool never should have went off on his own.

Let's make this quick, get in, get Monkey King and regroup with the others!" Nezha finished his strategizing, you just nodding your head along with his plan. The two of you took a step forward to go a pursue the plan at hand, but paused when Mk grabbed your hand. You whipped your head around fully to look at him, a look of confusion on your face.

Mk opened his mouth but let it fall shut after a moment, you walking closer and tilting your head at him. "Wait, what if... what if Monkey King is better off without us. What if we just get in his way?" Mk asked the two of you, his gaze dropping low to the ground, your shoulders loosening as you saw his hopeless expression. Turning your head over as best as you could, you gave Nezha a pleading look, one that he only sighed at.

Nezha walked up and placed his hand on Mk's shoulder, jerking Mk out of his thoughts and looked up to the deity. "I've known Sun Wukong a long time. He's not the loner he pretends to be." Nezha started to explain, loud explosions from above drawing your guys attention away for a few quick seconds. "He seems important to you, so I can only assume you're as equally important to him. If there's anyone who he needs right now, it's you." Nezha gently reassured the boy, Mk's down cast look quickly morphing as he looked down to the ground.

You smiled gently when Mk's eyes locked on yours, a now determined expression laid dormant on his face. "Get in, get Monkey King, get out." Mk repeated Nezha's plan back to him, the prince just smiling and nodding his head. With deep breaths taken between the three of you, you all looked back up at the sky and to the dancing colors, your eyes more trained on Macaque.

With no words exchanged, the three of you hopped down the cliff and towards the bottom, you holding Mk close. You saved the two of you with a shadow portal while Nezha used his rings to grace his fall, now standing at the bottom of the crater. You placed Mk down and looked around the area, not finding anything out of the ordinary before pressing onwards.

The landscape was dark and it was hard to adjust too, you were practically blind in your left eye with the limited light. The ice spikes didn't aid in your traversing either, as the floors were often slippery and you had to avoid falling down as a result. Not only that, but the ice made it hard to climb, often having to climb on the shoulders of the other two or using your energy to transport yourself.
