Humming to yourself, you moved around the kitchen with ease, serving up orders and passing them to Mk within a few minutes of receiving the ticket. Things were going pretty ok today, it was rather busy in the shop today, so your dad had to go out and buy more ingredients, leaving just you and Mk in the shop together. Though you love you're dad so, things seemed to be easier and quieter when it was just you and Mk working together, the two of you were quick to catch onto each others work efforts and were able to utilize it to the fullest. Or maybe it was because you two were close, its up for debate.

Turning around, your reached over the counter to reach Mk, who was smiling at you with a few paper slips in hand. You grabbed the slips and carefully handed him the two bowls you were holding, your guys's hands brushing against each other gently. Though you never seemed to pay any attention to the small gesture, but Mk took it to heart that you were still trusting of him, especially after what had happened last night. He hated to admit it, but he was scared that after the events of yesterday, you would turn your back to him and run away out of guilt, he's glad it didn't come to that.

Mk moved away from the counter as you turned around, glancing down at the slips and hang them up so you would get a good view of them, both of you getting to work without complaint. You grabbed two bowls and held them in one hand, walking over to the broth and poured the liquid in, the steam dancing over your features as the heat slowly caught up to you. Scooping the right noodles into the bowls, you walked over and started to decorate them with toppings of customers choice, you judge some of them but shook it away, some people just have strange diets.

Turning around, you were about to call for Mk but ended up just screaming a load of random words, startled by the stranger that was leaning against the counter looking at you. You smiled and laughed nervously as Mk quickly shuffled over, his large smile that he held for you folding downwards when he saw who was sitting at the counter. The Mayor chuckled at your guys disheveledness, watching as you both tried to continue on as normal, passing slips and bowls with the brush of hands.

You turned around, taking the old orders off the area you hung them off and replaced them, trying to get back to work as quickly as you could, though you couldn't shake the scary feeling of someone staring holes in your back. You heard the Mayors voice, alongside Mks uncomfortable questions about his order, he sounded snarky, like he was waiting for this moment for a long time. Once the Mayors voice left, you let out a breath you didn't know you were holding and turned around, handing Mk three more bowls in trade for two slips.

Your hands started to get shaky once you made the Mayors order, you were scared of messing it up and him scolding you, you really wouldn't find that pleasant. Turning around, you slipped the Mayor his order and passed the other bowl off, no slips handed to you in turn. You sighed and turned around, taking the slips down as you finally got a chance to just breathe. Mk was soon to join you, sitting down at the far end of the counter, away from the Mayor and other customers, watching you as you sauntered through the kitchen and over to him, a smile laying gently on your face.

The moment you were in front of Mk, you rested one arm flat on the counter, the other holding your head up as you held eye contact with him. "Today's really busy, are you really going to go and train with Monkey King today?" You asked him, tilting your head as your smile slightly fell, eyes drooping at the words you spoke. Mk swallowed a lump in his throat as he looked down and fidgeted with his hands, a distant look on his face as he thought over his words carefully.
