You woke to silence, the eerie air worsened your discomfort. The feeling of being watched tugged at you, and you rolled over to see who else was in the room. Lagoona's head barely peeked up above the foot of the bed, her eyes focused on you as she watched you sleep.

She didn't say a word as you stared back at her. "What are you doing?" You asked her.

"Just watching." She replied. "You don't sit still for very long when you rest, do you?"

"No." You shook your head. "You shouldn't be watching me. You should be at school. I should be alone." You said it mainly to yourself, completely in disbelief that she would watch you sleep for so long.

"Well, I figured you'd want company." She shrugged, unphased by her behavior.

"I don't." You said.

"Hm, so mean." She made a fake frown and giggled. "I know you're mad, but you shouldn't worry too much about me. Me...kidnapping you...that was impulse. I won't hurt you, I promise."

"And how do I know that?" You asked. "How do I know you won't sell me or eat me or use me in...bad ways."

She frowned for real this time, unhappy with your response.

"I love you, (Y/N). I would never do anything to hurt you. I just want you to love me back."

"Don't you think you went about it the wrong way?"

"No, I think I did what was necessary. I think I did a good thing."

"Well, you didn't." Lagoona's father stood at the doorway, a cup of coffee in his hands. "Lagoona, you have class. Go. Now."

Lagoona scurried from the room, leaving you and her dad alone. He smiled warmly at you.

"I really am sorry about all of this." He said. "I hope you don't hold any grudges. I understand your concerns, but please trust that we won't harm you."

"Unless I run away, right?" You said.

He sighed and let out a small chuckle as he looked to the ground. "Exactly."

He turned from you and shut the door, leaving you alone in the silence once again.

A few moments later, Lagoona hurriedly opened and shut the door. She gave you a grin and walked to the bed before sitting down on it.

"I didn't go to school." She giggled. "I wanted to stay home with you."

"You can't just skip out on school." You rolled your eyes. "People will get suspicious."

In all honesty, you didn't want her to be around you. You wanted to be alone, giving you time to think out a plan of escape. Obviously, you'd have to play the long game, gaining their trust before making your escape. You hoped things would work out in your favor. If you behaved, then they just might give you some freedom.

"Whatcha thinking about?" She asked sweetly.

"Stuff." You responded. "What are you still doing here?"

"Giving you attention. That's how relationships work, right?"

"This isn't a relationship." You deadpanned.

"It can be."

"It won't be."

You stared at the ceiling blankly, trying to ignore Lagoona's ongoing rambling. The only thing going through your mind was that you wanted to get out of the restraints. You knew Lagoona wouldn't let you.

But it was worth a try, right?

"Hey." You interrupted her.

"Yes, love?"

"I need to pee." You said. "Can you let me?"

"Sure." She said.

She undid your restraints and picked up your hand. "I have to come with you, just so you know."

You nodded, fully expecting that response.

She led you from the bedroom and to the bathroom. She stood facing the corner as you did your business.

Once you were finished, you tapped her on her shoulder. She took your hand again and led you back to the bedroom.

"Do I have to be tied up again?" You asked sweetly. "I'm so sore from it."

"Well... maybe for a little while I can. Just don't tell anybody though. And if you do, I'll kill you."

She said the last part in a serious, stone cold voice. You shivered from her tone, and nodded. She allowed you to sit on the bed, but she kept a firm hold on you as you relaxed.

You stretched your arms and legs, happy to be out of the ties.

"What's for dinner?" You asked.

She looked to your plate of food, which had been untouched.

"Why didn't you eat yesterday?" She asked.

You gave her a blank stare. "I couldn't. I was tied up, Lagoona. I was kidnapped and tied up."

Lagoona's head dropped. "Oh, yeah."

"So? What can I eat?"

"Let me go get you something." She said. "Stay here."

You did as you were told, sitting perfectly still on the bed. If you wanted to get free, you'd have to be obedient.

Just be obedient.

Just be obedient.

Just be obedient.
