Your eyes fluttered open and you yawned. You had gotten a good night's rest, and thankfully you were on to the next week. You snuggled up closer against your blanket, too warm and cozy to move from it. You closed your eyes once more, hoping and praying that you'd be able to go back to sleep.

Lagoona watched from a distance. She was sure that you had missed her. It had been days since you last saw eachother. Lagoona held her hands tightly together. Maybe she should fully wake you up?

She didn't want to wait on you any longer, so she stepped into your room silently and pushed open the curtains.

You groaned and looked upwards, the beaming light blinding you from your bed. Lagoona smiled widely, her pretty, white teeth shining. "Good morning!" She chirped.

"Mhm, morning." You replied.

Your eyes widened. Lagoona was in your house?

You allowed your eyes to get adjusted to the new light and looked at her. She held a steaming plate of food, and you looked at it wildly.

"What's wrong?" She asked innocently. "Do you not like eggs and bacon?"

"Um, no....it's fine, thank you."

She beamed and sat beside you on the bed before placing the plate in your lap. You blinked, trying to register what exactly was happening. She giggled and slid it closer to you.

"I hope you like it!"

"Thanks....um....am I missing something?" You asked. "Did I forget something?"

"Mmm, no." She shook her head. "I don't think so."

"Ah." You nodded. "Then why are you here?"

"Your window was unlocked, silly!"

"Okay...but why?"

"I was just so excited to see you, I couldn't stand it!" She exclaimed. "You're just so good and I...and I couldn't hold back."

You nodded, taking in the information as well as you could. Though you wished she had stayed at her own home, breakfast in bed was always enjoyable.

Lagoona's smile widened. She was so happy!!! Oh, how lucky she was to be able to see you in such a sweet, vulnerable, open form. The fact that she could see you like this hyped her up. She was so close to you, the real you! You two might as well have been dating.

Lagoona itched to take a picture. You were still rocking your bed head and crusted, sleepy eyes. She adored every inch of you. How could she not take a picture?

But then again, would you consent to a picture? Most women wouldn't if they had just woken up, but maybe you'd let her.

"I want to take a picture of you." She blurted.

"Huh?" You asked, trying to clarify what exactly she had said.

"I want to take a picture of you." She repeated, leaving you to blink in disbelief.

"Um, not right now." You said, and you took a forkful of eggs. You shoveled it into your mouth, hungry after a good night's rest.

"Say, how long have you been here?" You asked.

"Oh, I've lived here since I was a little kid-"

"I mean in my house." You said.

"Oh!" She giggled. "Well, I stayed since 5 this morning. You have a cozy home. It was tricky, avoiding your parents. But once I managed it was perfectly fine."

"Why did you sneak in here?" You asked.

"Well, isn't it obvious?" She said. "I have feelings for you, feelings that I've never had for anyone else."

You chewed silently. You knew that, of course, but you didn't expect her to actually have the guts to admit it.

Lagoona pulled her phone from her pocket and held it up to you. "Say cheese!"

You looked up at her, and in that time she managed to snap a photo of you.

"Delete that." You said immediately.

"Nope." She gave you a cheeky smile. "I love this picture."

Lagoona stared at it for a moment, fully taking in what the picture meant to her. "I think you look beautiful, (Y/N)."

Finally, she had something to keep when you weren't around.

"Lagoona, can I ask you something?" You hummed.

"Sure."

"What caused you to have feelings for me to begin with?"

She blinked. She hadn't expected that question from you.

"Well," She began. "I hated you at first. Your perfect body, your flowy hair, your soft skin. I hated all of it, all because I was jealous. But one day that jealousy went away. I don't know how, it just did. So now I love you. You're the best thing to ever walk this planet. Talk about an enemies to lovers trope."

You exhaled. "We aren't together. You know that, right?"

Her smile faultered for a second, but she plastered on a better one and inhaled sharply. "Not yet, we aren't."

"We won't ever be."

She stood to her feet and stretched. "I gotta go."

She walked to the door, but before she exited she turned to look at you.

"Oh, and (Y/N)? I wouldn't count on being single for long. You'll love me, even if it's the last thing you do."
