Kaylen fidgeted in her seat. She wanted someone to do her makeup; what if it looked terrible on camera? But no, the producers wanted everything to be as normal and not effected as possible. So Kaylen could only hope she looked even better then when she looked in a mirror last.
"Alright, let's start this. Action."
Kaylen sat up straighter.
"So what's your first and last name?"
"I'm Kaylen Stitches."
The young man who was interviewing her was her adopted cousin Elizabeth's husband, which explained the whole thing. He thought the family was very interesting and wanted to make a documentary about them. Things changed, and minds changed, and they ended up making some sort of dating show. Kaylen wasn't complaining, she preferred being with her friends rather than her adopted sisters.
"How old are you and are you dating anyone?"
"I'm sixteen and dating Justin Timberlake." Kaylen laughed nervously. "I'm kidding, I'm dating Justin Dallas."
Aberham glanced at the camera man and the two snickered.
"So, what's it like dating a celebrity?"
Kaylen laughed. "I said I was kidding..." She lifted her shoulders, as if trying to cover her face.
"I know, I know. So, do you have any friends or enemies that are going to be staying in this house? Give us some insight and detail."
"Oh yeah, so Poppie is my cousin and we're best friends. We live together and talk a lot so yeah. And Logan Draining and Kimberly Creek are my enemies. They're just really annoying, and they pick on me and Poppie for no reason."
Aberham shifted in his seat. "Kaylen, you kind of have to answer the questions as if we never asked."
"What?"
"Like you're just telling some facts about yourself."
"Oh yeah, okay."
He smiled and nodded. "So, how's your relationship with Justin?"
"Uh it's good- wait I mean, my relationship with Justin is going pretty well, obviously this event might change that but," Kaylen laughed nervously. "Well actually we don't have the best relationship, sometimes it feels like he thinks he's too smart for me, but that's the only bad thing. I think we're perfect for each other. And we're doing good."
Aberham mumbled something under his breath. "Right, so do you have anything else to tell us?"
"Well, Elula is also my cousin and she's kind of weird."
He nodded. "Okay, that's all for now, we'll have interviews occasionally, though. Thanks, Kaylen."
Kaylen stepped out of the chair. "Oh cool, that was fun." She waved as she walked out of the room and Aberham smiled at her in return.
Kaylen weaved her way through camera people and crew. Today was for interviewing, but the next day was when the fun would begin. Kaylen found Poppie where she left her; in the living room of the first floor. Brandon, Liv, and Maddi were also there, though none of them were talking to Poppie.
Kaylen sat next to her cousin and sighed.
"Well?" Poppie asked expectantly.
"It was pretty good," Kaylen said. "I said some weird stuff about dating Justin Timberlake..."
Poppie laughed. "I wonder if they'll add that to the first episode."
"They better not!"
