"Hey, Poppie!"

Poppie didn't turn around.

Rene' stumbled to a stop and pulled Poppie over to face her. "Hello?"

"I don't want to talk to you." Poppie mumbled.

"Why not?"

Poppie's face started to become red. "Because I know what you're doing. You're trying to make your ex jealous by flirting with me."

"What-?! No! No, I'm not!"

Poppie rolled her eyes. "Don't play dumb. This is absurd."

Rene' faltered. "I-I'm not using you-!"

"It's really a shame," Poppie spoke. "Because I liked you. I mean like, but that doesn't matter now. I can't believe you Rene'."

Rene' was at loss for words.

"I'm right," Poppie sighed. "Goodbye." She then turned on her heel and started to walk away.

"Wait!"

Poppie stopped for a moment.

"You're right."

Poppie turned back to Rene' with an annoyed expression. "Well, great."

"But I still like you. At first, I just wanted to get to Carson; now I don't care about him. I only care about you."

Poppie hesitated. "I don't think I can trust you."

"I'm a bad liar. I liked you all along, Poppie." Rene' took a step forward. "I just didn't really know it. And now...I don't know what to do."

Poppie slowly shook her head and shrugged. "You ruined everything."

"How can I make it up to you?"

"Prove that you don't care what Carson thinks. And that you like me."

Rene' thought for a moment. "How am I supposed to do that?"

Poppie was silent for a moment. Finally, she turned all the way around to face Rene'. "Not sure."

Rene' started to breathe again.

Poppie walked towards her. "You do like me?"

"I swear. I'd do anything for you."

"Well, that's an exaggeration." Poppie chuckled.

Rene' shook her head. "Not really."

"Gosh-I did not need to see that-!"

"What?" Brendon asked.

Logan pulled him away from the hallway. "Just the two grossest people in school making out."

Brendon looked surprised. "Justin and Rylen are gay?"

Logan scoffed. "No, worse."

Brendon smirked. "Rylen and Rene'?"

"Closer..."

Brendon peered out. "Oh, Poppie and Rene'. I didn't even know they liked each other."

"Same here. But whatever. Neither of them has had much luck in relationships. How long will they last?"

"Just that kiss," Brendon said. "Then that's all. They'll never talk to each other again."

Logan laughed.

"What's up?"

Kimberly glanced up from her phone to see Rylen. "Uh, hi?"
