"Alright, everyone needs to pack up. By ten tomorrow you all need to be ready to go. And I don't want to get film of someone rushing to pack up at 9:59. If you're not ready once it's time to go you better hope being homeless in California has been your dream. Anyway, today we'll be packing and interviewing. I don't want any of you to leave the house today. You can go outside of course, just not far. Hear me?"

Murmurs went through the crowd of teenagers.

"First up for interviews; Brendon, come on." Aberham walked with Brendon to the interview room.

Once they were seated and ready, Aberham started.

"Are we supposed to stay in this clump?" Carson asked.

Kirk shrugged. "I suppose so. Yo, I didn't even know you were here! Hey!" He waved at Nyesha Stitches.

Carson laughed. "This is weird. All these people."

"All these people and yet you still manage to be single."

Carson shoved Kirk, who was laughing his head off.

Kaylen trotted up to the two and stopped next to Kirk. "What do you think the interviews are going to be like?"

"Probably just, 'what'd you think of this whole experiment?' Wait, experiment? Are we part of some grand scheme?!"

"Your boyfriend is an idiot." Carson said to Kaylen.

Kaylen laughed.

"Hey," Kirk turned to Kaylen. "You're not supposed to laugh at that."

"Sorry, Carson's funny."

"Yeah, he is!" Carson nodded enthusiastically.

Kirk rolled his eyes and faced Carson. "No, he's not!"

"This is when we get into a fist fight." Carson laughed.

"No, it has to be dumber than that. CARSON! YOU TALKED TO KAYLEN! DIE!" Kirk shoved Carson lightly.

"Don't fight!" Kaylen squealed.

Carson placed his hands on Kirk's shoulders. "Your girlfriend is...uhm...how can I put this as nicely as possible..."

"Cute? I know right!"

The three laughed, though Kaylen was laughing from being flattered, unaware of any joke.

"You dated that guy?" Rylen watched Kirk in disgust.

"I was younger then." Kimberly said. "You can't blame me. Plus, you dated Alex."

Rylen frowned. "Hm."

"What, are you touchy about the subject?" Kimberly took a step away. "Not over her?"

"No, just...I don't know. It's nothing."

Kimberly looked at him suspiciously. "Are you seriously not over her?"

"No, just forget it."

Kimberly crossed her arms. "Whatever then."

Elula stood a bit impatiently. "I don't understand why we all have to stand around the living room like this."

"To keep an eye on us." Taylor spoke.

"Yeah, but there has to be a better way to keep an eye on us...they have cameras all around anyway."

Taylor nodded.

"Elula," Aberham called. "You're next!"

Elula glanced at Taylor then went to the interview room.

"So, what is your opinion on this month?"
