Alex waited for what felt like eternity at the elevator. Why did she have to live on the fourth floor? It always took so long for the elevator to move up to her.

"Hi, Alex." Colton walked up to her with a smile.

"Oh, hey."

"How are you?"

"Annoyed." Alex said. "I hate living on the fourth floor."

Colton looked a bit confused. "Why-? Ohh, because the elevator takes forever?"

Alex nodded. "Then it makes us have to make stupid small talk like this."

"Oh." Colton shut his mouth and faced the elevator door.

"Let's play a game." Maddi suggested.

Liv and Brandon waited for her to say what game.

Maddi took a bite of her bagel. Did the house have any board game? Probably. Who wouldn't have board games? Maddi twisted in her chair to face a camera person.

"Are there any board games in this house?"

The woman shrugged.

"Aw man." Maddi turned back to face Brandon and Liv. "We could search the house for board games."

"There might be some in the game room closet," Brandon said.

"Oh, yes!" Maddi hopped up from her chair. "Let's go!"

"Can we finish our breakfast first?" Liv asked.

"Oh. Yeah. Of course." Maddi sat back down.

"Regret turning me down yet?"

Rylen glanced over to see Alex marching towards him. "Why, are you going to ask for me to take you back again?"

"No, my relationship is going just fine. She's quite understanding."

"Are you saying I wasn't understanding?"

Alex stopped and crossed her arms. "Not really. I was just thinking you look very lonely."

"Keep your thoughts to yourself." Rylen snapped.

Alex glared at him. "Why? Can't deal with the truth?"

"What's the truth?"

"That you're lonely and you regret life decisions."

Rylen looked at her for a moment. "I do regret some life decisions. I regret ever trusting you. I regret believing you when you said you loved me," Rylen laughed. "Now that I think of it, you're such a liar and a cheat."

"I never lied to you." Alex said. "I even told you when I cheated. I could have kept it a secret."

"You can't make up for the things you did. I can't believe Lexi is still dating you, knowing you've kissed three different people this month. Four if you count the mirror."

"You would too if anyone actually liked you."

Rylen sighed. "Alex, are you dating Brendon?"

"What, are you dumb? Obviously not."

"I think that explains that people don't actually like you."

Alex scoffed. It was obvious she knew she was losing in this argument. "At least I'm approachable."

"You approached me."

"Yeah, people who want to hurt you talk to you." Alex turned and walked away.

Rylen knew Alex didn't know how much her last words hurt.
