Logan spotted Raven standing alone in the kitchen. Perfect. She made her way over, expecting to not be welcomed with a genuine smile.

"Raven." Logan leaned up against the fridge.

"Oh, Logan, I need to get something from the fridge."

"I know."

Raven stood looking at her for a moment. "What do you need?"

"Your time." Logan stepped away from the fridge and opened it. "How is Adrian treating you?"

Raven took an apple from the fridge. "I'm sorry, why do you need to know that information?"

"Ah, touchy subject."

"Not exactly, I just don't see why I need to share that with you."

"Fine then." Logan crossed her arms as Raven took a knife out of the drawer. "Keep it classified."

"Thank you."

Logan watched him cut the fruit for a moment. "Do you like your life?"

"I do," Raven said. He then turned to Logan. "Do you not like yours?"

"I just feel like I'm missing something."

"And what's that?"

"Someone."

Raven scraped the apple scraps into the trashcan. "Oh?"

Logan suddenly wanted to laugh. This was ridiculous. But also fun. And if she laughed it would ruin it. "Yes," She continued instead. "Do you ever get that feeling?"

"I don't believe I do."

"Still in denial then it seems."

Raven took a bowl from the cabinet. "What am I denying?"

"Well, now you've put me in an awkward situation, Raven."

"Why is that?"

Logan sighed. "Usually you don't be so abrupt in these settings."

"In front of the cameras you mean?" Raven put his apple slices in the bowl.

Logan stared at him for a moment. "Yeah." After a moment she looked down at the bowl in his hands. "Are those cold apple slivers?"

"They are."

"Can I have one?"

Raven handed her a slice. "Do you like cold apples?"

"I always like what cute people give me." Logan stuffed the apple slice in her mouth before she could laugh.

Raven looked a bit startled for a second. "Oh. Thank you!"

"That's what I should be saying," Logan said after swallowing the apple.

"That's okay." Raven waved his hand dismissively.

"I never said it wasn't."

"Oh, I'm sorry, it was kind of implied."

"Yes, it was, you're a smart boy."

Raven looked the slightest bit disgusted by this comment; an expression that was very rare to show up on Raven's face, so Logan had a very hard time not laughing. "What about that makes me smart?"

"My bad, I didn't know you didn't like being called smart."

"I didn't mean that-,"

"Oh, I'm sorry, it was kind of implied."

Raven looked at her for a moment. "Did I say something that offended you?"

Logan shook her head. "You know how when someone likes someone else, they start to talk like them?"
